Nintendo’s 2026 Summer Sale has started on the Nintendo eShop, and it covers both the original Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 through July 8, 2026. There are discounts across the usual spread: first-party games, third-party releases, indie standouts, plus a small batch of console and accessory offers. The timing matters, too. Reports have been circulating that the Nintendo Switch 2 may get a $50 price bump in September.
A few of the headline game deals stand out right away. Pokémon Legends: Z-A (Switch 2 Edition) is down to $44.99. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is discounted too, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is part of a limited-time lightning deal. That one also comes with a $10 upgrade path to the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Hades II is in there as well.
Capcom showed up for this one. Resident Evil Requiem is discounted, along with several Monster Hunter games. And on the indie side, Sea of Stars and No Man’s Sky help fill out the sale list.
There’s hardware in the mix too, including the $499 Nintendo Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle. The game choices there include Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Pokopia.
You’ll also find a 256GB Samsung microSD Express card for $39.99, plus a few offers that knock 10% off Nintendo eShop gift cards. If you’ve been waiting to buy a Nintendo Switch 2, or just wanted an excuse to add more games to your library, this is a good time to look. The digital discounts are live on the Nintendo eShop, and the hardware deals are available through participating retailers.
