Among all the games presented at their State of Play, Sony also took some time to talk about their hardware. Although they briefly discussed the capabilities of the PlayStation 5 Pro without showing anything we didn’t already know, they also showed us something different. While the PlayStation 5 has games, what it has above others is many aesthetic options.

Sony has introduced a new line of colors, called Chroma, for the DualSense and PlayStation 5 covers. Available in three colors—Chroma Indigo, Chroma Pearl, and Chroma Aqua Green—they stand out for their chromatic tones. With a price of $89.99 for the DualSense and $75.99 for console covers, preorders for the collection will begin on October 3. Chroma Indigo and Chroma Pearl will be released on November 7, and Chroma Aqua Green on January 23, 2025.

This product line will not be available for purchase in just any store. If you want to buy them, you will have to purchase them through PlayStation Direct. So, if you’re interested in making your life a bit more chromed, you have a date with Sony on October 3rd.
