It is not unknown or new that Hideo Kojima has a great interest in cinema. His teenage dream was to be a film director, but it was frustrated both by his personal situation and by the socio-economic situation in Japan. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t had plenty of opportunities to make the leap. He has had them and has not been interested. He likes making video games and wants to continue making them. And when he makes movies, he wants to make them on his own terms.
