Over 2 million passwords stolen in malware attack

Rumor: Windows project ‘Threshold’ coming in 2015

Code-named Threshold from the game series Halo, the new version of Windows is expected to arrive mid 2015. Its main objective is to integrate the app stores of Windows Phone and Xbox One to create a fully unified system. Threshold won’t be the name of a single new version of Windows, rather a range of developments being pushed to all platforms.

Free demo out now for Professional Farmer Simulator 2014

You can can now download and play the free demo for Professional Farmer Simulator 2014. The game was released last week by United Independent Entertainment, who also made the Agricultural Simulator games.

Professional Farmer Simulator 2014 should not be confused with Farming Simulator 2013 from Giants Software. Despite the use of a similar font in their logos, these are not related games. It’s probably Giants Software’s simulator that has the edge, but both offer a similarly relaxed simulator experience.

The demo requires a free Steam account, plus the Steam app installed on your PC. The demo takes you through the basics of Professional Farmer Simulator 2014, and gives you a good feel for just how slowly the world moves in agricultural sims. The sim has pretty low system requirements, running on Windows XP and above, with only 2GB of ram.

Despite their relaxed pace, farming simulators are really popular, just like train and truck simulators.
