The Superman suit portrayed by David Corenswet has disappeared from its display location at Warner Bros. studios, sparking a series of speculations among DC fans. A fan who visited the studio noticed the absence of the suit, which is usually located next to Lex Luthor’s suit. Instead, they found a sign indicating that “the Superman suit is being used in production“, which has fueled rumors about its possible use for the upcoming sequel titled Man of Tomorrow, scheduled to be released on July 9, 2027.
Super suspicious super suit
Although filming for Man of Tomorrow has not yet begun, it is known that pre-production started in September 2025, and recordings are not scheduled until 2026. Fans speculate that the suit could be used for prior arrangements or pre-filming, given that the production start date is approaching. “It makes sense to reuse the suit instead of creating a new one if filming is so close”, commented a fan on social media.
The director of DC and in charge of the new Superman movie, James Gunn, officially announced Man of Tomorrow through his social media on September 3, 2025. Along with this announcement, Gunn shared illustrations showing Superman and Lex Luthor together, suggesting an interesting dynamic between both characters, which could imply some sort of collaboration instead of the usual antagonism. The depiction shows Superman apparently helping Lex fix his armor, leaving open the possibility of an unexpected confrontation that could turn into an alliance.
With the arrival of this new chapter in the DC universe, fans remain eager for the revelations that will come in the coming months about Man of Tomorrow.
