The characters from the successful Pixar movie Inside Out are ready to make a memorable entrance into the world of sports. ESPN and the National Hockey League (NHL) have announced the Inside Out Classic event, which will combine the magic of animation with an exciting real-time hockey game. This unique match will take place on Sunday, April 5, and can be followed live on ESPN+ and Disney+ platforms.

Animation, but live

During the Inside Out Classic, the teams that will face off on the ice are the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers, two NHL franchises with a rich history of competition. The uniqueness of this event lies in the participation of the beloved characters Joy, Sadness, and other emotional friends, who will interact with the players and contribute to the narrative of the game through dynamic animations.

The inclusion of these iconic characters promises not only to entertain hockey fans but also to attract a family audience that may not be as devoted to sports. The fusion of a real hockey game with the animation of Inside Out aims to deliver a unique experience, where the emotions represented by Joy, Sadness, and their friends will come to life on the ice rink.

This event highlights the growing trend where family entertainment and sports intertwine to create multifaceted experiences that are accessible to diverse audiences. With Pixar’s ability to touch the emotional core of its viewers, the Inside Out Classic will not only be a hockey game but also a celebration of emotions and reminiscences that will resonate with both children and adults. This initiative is expected to open new doors in the way we conceive sports and entertainment events.

The Super Bowl 2024 aims to break the record for the most viewers in TV history

Last year, the NFL achieved its best regular season in years, which bodes well for a record-breaking Super Bowl LVIII. Do you know which was the most-watched program?

Although we don’t have the data yet, experts are clear that last night’s NFL final between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers could have been the second most-watched program in the history of the United States.

AppleTV+ DOWNLOAD

Of the 25 most-watched television programs in the history of the United States, there are 18 Super Bowls on the list. This includes last year’s game between the Chiefs and the Eagles, which, in addition to holding the audience crown for the competition, is also the second most-watched television program in history.

The only program that surpasses it? The arrival of Apollo 11 to the Moon in 1969, which was seen by more than 150 million people. So far, no other program has even come close to that record.

Four out of the last five Super Bowls are among the top 25, and over the years, 12 Super Bowls have surpassed 100 million viewers.

Currently, to enter the Top 25, more than 92 million viewers are needed, a figure that is increasingly difficult to achieve for television. That is why, as time goes by, it is very likely that there will be more Super Bowls on this list. Today, American football is almost the only thing that can achieve an audience of half that size.

The NFL’s record-breaking season in viewership

Last year, the NFL had its best regular season in years, which bodes well for a record-breaking Super Bowl LVIII. Among all the games, the regular season averaged 17.9 million viewers across linear and digital platforms.

This is the highest figure since 2015, tied with the one from 2010 for the second best season recorded, dating back to 1995. The most watched game of the season was the Commanders-Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, with over 40 million viewers.

The audience increased by 7% year-on-year in terms of total audience, while the increase in viewers ranged from 4% to 10% in key demographic groups.

The NFL also set a streaming record with the Wild Card game between the Chiefs and Dolphins, which was exclusive to Peacock. It is now considered the most streamed live event in US history.

Why has this season been so stellar for the NFL? There are several factors, such as close and competitive games and the growing power of the stars among the players and their inner circles.

The most promising football player in the world… does not appear in EA Sports FC 24

There is a boy who is only 16 years old and is triumphing in La Liga, the Spanish soccer competition. There’s a reason why Lamine Yamal doesn’t appear…

If you’re a football fan, you probably know that there’s a 16-year-old boy at F.C. Barcelona who’s a machine. He’s one of the great promises of Spanish football. He has been a starter for his club and has even made his debut with the national team, scoring a goal as well.

EA SPORTS FC DOWNLOAD

This young talent is Lamine Yamal, a Spanish-born player of Equatoguinean descent, and he is the brightest star among the world’s football prospects. No one of his age seems to shine brighter than him, honestly.

Nominated for the Golden Boy award, Lamine could be the next Messi, as is often said when a young player shows exceptional promise. In this case, it makes sense, as he plays for the same club and in the same position as the Argentine superstar.

Reasons why Lamine Yamal is not in EA Sports FC 24

Players have now discovered that they cannot play with Lamine in either friendly matches or Career Mode in the game, so many have criticized EA for leaving him out.

And while a few believe it’s the fault of Real Madrid and its tentacles of power, the reality is simpler and much more sensible: it’s a legal matter. In other words, Lamine is too young to appear.

The player from Esplugues de Llobregat was born on July 13, 2007, so he is 16 years old. This means he cannot sign a contract with EA for the use of his image, something that can only be done from the age of 17, as stipulated by EA.

This might seem odd, but we saw it happen in FIFA 20 with Ansu Fati, another F.C. Barcelona player who was a revelation during that season. When that FIFA edition was released, the young forward was 16 years old and couldn’t appear in the game.

As you can see, the reason is purely legal, and it should be understood. Since he won’t turn 17 until this season is over, we most likely won’t be able to play with Lamine Yamal until EA Sports FC 25, which is not that far off.

Don’t Miss a Beat: Comprehensive Vuelta a España 2023 Coverage Here!

Start one of the most beautiful competitions in the world of cycling. Of course, we talk about the Vuelta a Espña 2023 and we explain everything to you.

Tomorrow some of the biggest names in cycling will embark on a three-week journey through Spain for the last major competition of the season: the Vuelta a España.

RTVE alacarta APK DOWNLOAD

Reigning Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard, his Jumbo-Visma teammate and reigning Giro d’Italia champion and former Tour winner Geraint Thomas are just some of the stars who will take on the Vuelta.

As is almost always the case in this race, they will be battling it out on a course that presents some really grueling mountain challenges. It will be a great spectacle.

The route of the Vuelta

The 2023 Vuelta a España has one thing in common with this year’s Tour de France and that is that the organizers have wisely spread the GC challenges over the three weeks.

Tough climbs abound from shortly after the start until the final days of the race, which will make for an entertaining ride through Spain.

In fact, the first day will have implications for the general classification, as the riders will face a team time trial in Barcelona.

A hilly finish to stage 2 could favor the puncheurs, and then stage 3 will close with two first-category (altitude) climbs in Andorra. In other words, we should see the favorites start to come to the fore just three days after the start of the Vuelta.

After two more days for the fast riders, as the Vuelta moves south, another first category finish will come on stage 6.

This will be followed by another flatter stage before two gritty finishes on stages 8 and 9, before the first rest day. Immediately after that rest day will come a crucial day for the overall contenders: the only individual time trial of the race, a 25.8 km flat race in Valladolid.

Another uphill finish awaits on stage 11, and then there will be a bit of a breather with a sprint stage in Zaragoza on stage 12 before a brutal stage 13 that is up or down basically from start to finish.

The riders will immediately face a category 3 climb, then the special category Col d’Aubisque, then the category 1 Col de Spandelles, before finishing on the special category Col du Tourmalet, which climbs to a whopping 2,115 meters.

As usual, this is a Vuelta that will heavily favor the climbers, but the team time trial and individual time trial will have an impact.

Big favorites: Roglič, Vingegaard and Evenepoel.

A few days before the start of the race in Barcelona, it looks like a “big three” situation. Jumbo is the bookmakers’ top favorite, while Evenepoel will try to defend its Vuelta title against the black and yellow giant.

Let’s start with Jumbo-Visma, where the question “Vingegaard or Roglič?” will be one of the most intriguing storylines of this race. Vingegaard would certainly be a clear favorite if this were the Tour de France, his main goal for the season, but this is the Vuelta, and it’s Roglič who has made his ambitions public here all season long.

Vingegaard’s decision to join the fun, however, has come as more belated news, so it’s a real unknown as to whether he’s fit enough to win races and what his goals are.

We don’t really know what to expect from Vingegaard, who hasn’t raced since the Tour, while Roglič just won the Vuelta a Burgos last week. Given that they are riders with relatively similar abilities and that both will come out of the team time trial with the same time, it’s a question of whether a difference in form trumps Vingegaard’s natural advantage, and it could, given that Roglič really wants this win.

Outside of the overall contenders there are a handful of big names who will be looking for stages, with Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) as leading sprinters and Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) as the rider to watch in the flat TT.

In Spain, the lap will be free to watch on TV and the RTVE app, so don’t hesitate to download the app and watch it whenever you want, wherever you are.

Barcelona’s Roadmap During Vuelta a España: Tips for City Dwellers!

Do you live in Barcelona? We are sorry to tell you that this weekend is coming a couple of hellish days in terms of being able to circulate around the city,

The city of Barcelona is getting ready to experience one of the biggest sporting events of the year: the first stage of the Tour of Spain.

However, this exciting competition also brings with it some logistical challenges for the city’s residents. With road closures and altered schedules, it is essential to be informed in order to get around efficiently during this exciting cycling event.

Streets cut off and a lot of subway to be used

As explained in El País, on Saturday we will have the team time trial and this will mean the largest traffic cut in the history of the city, in territorial extension and also because it will last for many hours, between 13 and 21 hours.

In a 14-kilometer route that starts at Somorrostro beach and goes all the way to Maria Cristina, residents will have to remove parked vehicles from the street.

The City Council has recommended using the metro, avoiding car journeys and using the ring roads if it is necessary to cross the city, where the bus service will not be operational either, because 45 lines will be affected.

On Sunday, the stage will leave Mataró and will end with a route through the mountain of Montjuïc. That is, this whole weekend it is recommended not to take the car at any time and check that your street is not cut.

Even going on foot is going to be difficult

The 14-kilometer race course will also affect mobility on foot. During a two-hour period, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., a team is expected to pass every four minutes at an average speed of 50 kilometers per hour, although they may reach 80 kilometers per hour.

For this reason, residents are called upon to remove their parked vehicles along the route, which will be fenced on both sides of the street. Due to the length of the route, which reaches 28 kilometers in total, the City Council has had to request the collaboration of practically all the companies in the sector to supply the necessary fences.

To address emergency situations or urgent needs, 78 crossing points will be established along the route. That is, you will not be able to cross wherever you want, only where you can.

From the Pitch to Real Estate: Messi’s Inter Miami Debut Costs as Much as a Spanish House

The best player in soccer history has signed for an MSL team. The expectation is so great that in the resale the tickets have arrived…

Messi won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and unquestionably cemented himself as the greatest player in the history of football. For the purists, he has reached the same level as Maradona and Pelé.

Twitter DOWNLOAD

After his failed transfer to F.C. Barcelona, which would have been the perfect crowning achievement to his flawless career, Messi has decided to take a step towards his sporting retirement by joining a second-tier league like the American one.

Lionel Messi’s debut in the United States is set to take place on Friday, July 21st, and ticket prices have skyrocketed to $110,000, according to a report by CNN.

This comes amidst Apple’s $250 million agreement with Major League Soccer for exclusive live streaming rights of American football matches.

Messi turned down 1.6 billion for three years

With all the European stars retiring in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, Messi had the opportunity to become the highest-paid athlete in history with a three-year offer worth $1.6 billion.

Inter Miami offered a significant amount of money, along with a portion of the club’s television rights (something unprecedented), while Barcelona could barely afford to offer him a modest salary considering Messi’s own stature and market value.

And while the dream return didn’t work out, Messi decided that all the money in the world offered by Saudi Arabia wasn’t worth it, considering his sporting situation and his family.

Choosing Miami, a heavily Hispanic area (and we all know about Messi’s English skills), known for its high quality of life, was a logical decision. We would all have chosen the same. And in the United States, they are thrilled to have Messi in their league. Good luck, dear Leo, and thank you for everything.

We have reached the tenth race of the Formula 1 World Championship, and this time the action moves to the British circuit. Fernando Alonso has achieved victory twice at this circuit, in 2006 and 2011.

For those who are not familiar with the current Formula 1 World Championship standings, after the ninth race, Max Verstappen is leading, followed by Checo Pérez in second place, and Fernando Alonso in third. It’s worth noting that Silverstone will be hosting the tenth race, instead of the usual eleventh position.

  1. Max Verstappen: 229 points
  2. Checo Pérez: 148 points
  3. Fernando Alonso: 131 points

Things are heating up, and the point difference between the top three drivers is very narrow. A victory for any of them in the Austrian Grand Prix could change everything… especially for Fernando Alonso, who could move up to second place in the Championship.

By the way, there’s a new F1 23 game available for download and play. Here’s all the information you need.
