Netflix continues to expand its catalog with a huge production of movies and series, although not all manage to capture the audience’s attention, with some considered mere fillers. However, among its vast offering, essential titles stand out such as Cut Here and This World Won’t Make Me a Bad Person, both works by Zerocalcare, renowned Italian comic author.
More Zeroalcare after his two resounding previous successes
During the recent Lucca Comics & Games festival, Zerocalcare announced his third series for the streaming platform titled Due Spicci. Its premiere is scheduled for 2026, although an exact date has not yet been defined. This will be the first production since the release of This World Won’t Make Me a Bad Person, which hit screens more than two years ago.
For now, details about Due Spicci are scarce. No images or trailers were shown during the festival, which leaves the possibility of a potential delay until the end of next year. The characteristic orange armadillo will return as the protagonist, which in its original version once again features the voice of Zerocalcare, while it is expected that Secco, an iconic character with a particular devotion to ice cream, will also return to the series.
Despite the lack of information, fans are eagerly awaiting the new project and are suggested to read Zerocalcare’s comics as preparation. Although some titles are still not available in Spanish, several of his works have already been translated and could be appealing to those who enjoyed his previous series on Netflix.
As the wait for Due Spicci continues, Zerocalcare’s followers may find in his published bibliography a good antidote to uncertainty.
