HoYoverse did not start as a behemoth that turns everything it touches into gold. Initially, it was a company with great potential that made interesting games that didn’t seem to take off with the general public. That’s why it’s important to remember their games before Genshin Impact. Because they still work very well and without them, we wouldn’t have everything that has come after today.
That’s why, and because Honkai Impact 3rd is going to receive its version 7.8 patch, where they promise things are going to heat up quite a bit. The major addition is a new character, Lone Planetfarer, an electric damage DPS who can switch between two forms, Lone Traveler and Planet Quake, depending on your strategy. A perfect inclusion for the game, adding her mechs to the battlefield.
In turn, this patch will add a new branch to the game’s story. Called The First and Last War, we will follow Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie through time in an ancient Langqiu. Additionally, if we complete the content of this story, we will receive numerous extra benefits for doing so.
The version 7.8 patch will be released on October 17th and will serve as an appetizer for the crossover it will have with Honkai: Star Rail, named Honkai Impact 3rd x Honkai: Star Rail, which will take place on November 28th.
