Rockstar Games has recently released Money Fronts, a new free update that expands the content of GTA Online, keeping players’ interest alive despite the anticipation for the release of GTA 6. This update allows players to immerse themselves in the world of money laundering using legitimate businesses as a front, including a medical cannabis dispensary and a helicopter service.
Clear path for illegal businesses
The narrative of Money Fronts begins with a call from Mr. Faber, a key character in the money laundering network. With his support and that of other well-known characters, such as MartÃn Madrazo, players will be able to manage operations from a business called Hands On, which serves as a base to hide illicit profits through seemingly legal activities.
Within this new system, players will be able to diversify their businesses, managing operations such as Smoke on the Water, a cannabis retail outlet, and Higgins Helicopter Tours, which not only transports clients but also illegal goods. However, money laundering also brings a warning system that increases the risk of intervention by authorities, forcing players to maintain a low profile and reduce suspicious activity through legal tasks.
In addition, Mr. Faber’s Jobs are introduced, a series of missions that offer substantial rewards for completing tasks such as protecting shipments and recovering stolen items. While these missions provide quick opportunities to launder money, they also increase the risk of being discovered.
The update not only brings new gameplay mechanics but also six new vehicles, a graphical upgrade for the PC version, and scheduled events for celebrations like Independence Day and Halloween, ensuring that GTA Online remains an appealing space for its followers in the long term.
