Although Stallone himself will not take on the lead role this time, he will serve as executive producer, reflecting his desire to explore new facets of film production as he approaches 80 years old.

Rambo returns, although not as we know him

Noah Centineo, known for his work in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Street Fighter, will take the lead in the new installment. The direction will be in charge of Jalmari Helander, director of the acclaimed film Sisu, which promises a significant dose of action and impactful scenes.

With Helander at the helm, it is expected that the raw and real essence of the character Rambo, introduced by Stallone in the iconic film First Blood, will be captured.

In a video shared by Stallone on social media, the actor expressed his excitement for this new adventure, stating: Rambo has been a big part of my life and my career. There is more to tell: there is the prequel, the beginning, and that is what we are going to bring. I couldn’t be more excited.
