Google’s Pixel 8 is already an open secret. It hasn’t been officially unveiled yet, but constant accidental leaks, some of which were initiated by Google themselves, have provided us with many details about their upcoming flagship smartphone. In fact, a recent link, published but not officially announced, allowed us to get a detailed look at the Pixel 8 Pro.
This link, which would be the same one you mentioned, is now blocked and inactive until the appropriate time, but for a while, we were able to see the appearance of the Pixel 8 Pro, both from the front and the back. While it didn’t specify many details about its components, it did reveal the placement of its most important sensors.
A high-end smartphone
The Pixel 8 will arrive to continue the path of its successful predecessors. With a design that may appear conservative to some, Google’s new flagship will once again compete to be among the best high-end smartphones, both in terms of top-tier components and the quality of its fully native service.
The Pixel 8 has already experienced leaks before, but in this case, the opportunity to see the phone in such detail has allowed users to learn much more about the phone that will lead Google’s smartphone lineup in the near future.
The Pixel 7 steps back from the front line
When the Pixel 8 is officially announced and released, its predecessor, the Pixel 7, will no longer be the company’s flagship model. However, this doesn’t mean it will be left without support, as Google assures that their flagship phones receive up to 4 years of updates from their launch, along with five years of security patches. Therefore, this model still has a long service life ahead.
The Pixel 7 has set a high standard in the premium smartphone market. As always, the simplicity of its operating system, running Android natively without custom layers, ensures that its apps are always optimized to the fullest. Additionally, Pixel phones have always been known for the quality of their camera, something that is expected to continue with the Pixel 8.
