Cyberpunk 2077 has received an update that allows players to face off against some of the game’s bosses again, a highly desired feature by the community. Although boss fights are not the main focus of the title, many users enjoyed these confrontations, with Adam Smasher being one of the most memorable, especially after watching the Cyberpunk Edgerunners series.
Adam Smasher, we meet again
The novelty in this update is complemented by the Revengers mod, available for free on NexusMods. This revolutionary mod allows players to replay unique missions that end with challenging battles, offering the opportunity to change the gameplay style and face again adversaries that have been previously defeated. This mechanic allows players to experience a new dynamic when defeating bosses, who return stronger in what has been termed the Trial Mode. This aspect is especially appealing to those seeking an additional challenge after reaching a high level of power within the game.
Revengers includes a complete list of repeatable missions, covering five completed areas and nine NCPD scan points, among others. This addition is ideal for those who have already completed the game and feel that the routine of traversing Night City has become monotonous.
Fans are not only enthusiastically welcoming these updates in the game, but they are also eagerly awaiting a second season of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners series or, at least, the announcement of some other anime in the Cyberpunk universe. With the rise in popularity of the game and its narrative environment, it is plausible that more installments and expansions will be explored in the future.
