The most anticipated science fiction movie finds its perfect protagonist in Will Smith

Will Smith is back in fashion. After spending a couple of years in oblivion following the controversy of the Oscars slap on the same night he won his first statuette, the actor is making a comeback thanks to recent successes like the recent Bad Boys 4. Now, his streak continues with the confirmation of his signing for a new big science fiction film by Sony.

The name of the movie that will star the actor is Resistor, based on the novel Influx, by writer Daniel Suárez. From what has been revealed so far, the movie follows a group of scientists who discover a device capable of reflecting gravity. However, their discovery is not well received; instead of being acclaimed and celebrated, they are imprisoned so that the truth does not come to light.

A science fiction thriller starring Will Smith

Although the movie doesn’t have a director yet, the initial script has been written by Zak Olkewicz (Bullet Train) and the latest version by Eric Warren Singer (Top Gun: Maverick). The movie promises to be a top-notch science fiction thriller. We will soon receive more information about it.
