At MiHoyo, they know that fortune is available to those who seek it, and to remain one of the most popular mobile games in the world, they can’t rest on their laurels. That’s why, even if it’s been less than a month since their last major content expansion, they have already announced what the next one will be, and with a release date that is much sooner than expected.

Entitled “The Rainbow destined to burn,” version 5.1 of Genshin Impact will continue progressing the game’s story. This means that we will continue exploring the region of Natlan, where two significant events will occur: we will meet a master blacksmith and Sumeru will celebrate the return of the Sabzeruz Festival.

The first thing will be the inclusion of a new character among our ranks, Xilonen. A legendary blacksmith, Xilonen has created numerous items, such as the sunglasses of the Fire Archon, and is also an extraordinarily agile fire warrior. Excelling as a support unit for the team and standing out for her mobility, she is a perfect new addition to your squad.

The festival affords us classic element of celebrations: the minigames. With both well-known classics and new ones yet to be discovered, we will be able to earn Festive Fervor by completing these minigames. Festive Fervor can then be exchanged for all kinds of rewards, including the possibility of obtaining Candace completely free of charge.

The rainbow destined to burn, version 5.1 of Genshin Impact, will be released on October 9th. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS through the App Store, Android via Google Play and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will receive the game on November 20th. So get ready to celebrate!
