Being able to enjoy the next Call of Duty on Game Pass from day one seems like a very real possibility. According to Wall Street Journal, the next installment of Activision’s shooter could be available from day one on Microsoft’s platform, according to sources close to the publication.
If it finally turns out to be true, it would be the first time that a Call of Duty game is included in a service like this during its launch. This would mean considerable savings for some players, especially if we take into account that there are such interesting offers as paying one euro for 14 days.

According to the article published by Wall Street Journal, Microsoft plans “a major shake-up of its video game sales strategy”. Making Call of Duty available on Game Pass from day one changes “the lucrative approach of always selling it only à la carte”.
Undoubtedly, it would be a very controversial measure. During the process of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, there were no shortage of complaints, such as those from Sony. According to the company, “the inclusion of Activision Blizzard in the Xbox Game Pass catalog would be a turning point in the market.” It also denounced that Call of Duty “would have no rivals” and that it remains “essential for their PlayStation console.”
