Will we see Batman in the finale of The Penguin?
Since Carmine Falcone was eliminated by Enigma, Oz has maneuvered to dominate the criminal empire, facing the Maroni and Falcone families and pitting them against each other. Now, with the latest episode, the plot has taken an unexpected turn: in a face-to-face fight with Sal Maroni (Clancy Brown), Oz seemed about to finish off his rival, but the tension was interrupted when Maroni suffered a heart attack, robbing Oz of the satisfaction of a clear victory. Although Maroni has fallen, the series has made it clear that this is not the end of the complications for Oz.
But with Maroni out of the picture, Oz’s last obstacle is Sofia Falcone (Cristin Milioti), now known as Sofia Gigante. Their rivalry has reached a new level of intensity after Sofia kidnapped Oz’s mother, Francis, using her as the key piece to bend him.

Additionally, Sofia has revealed her knowledge of a dark secret from Oz’s past: the death of his siblings in a childhood accident, a traumatic event that, it seems, has shaped his ruthless character that we now see so clearly.
Now, the final episode promises to be explosive in more than one sense. The penultimate chapter ended with an “exchange” in the tunnels of Crown Point, where Oz hoped to recover his mother in exchange for his drug business. Instead of Francis, he received a death trap: a bomb that devastated the area and resulted in an image of chaos and destruction reminiscent of the darkest events in Gotham’s history. This act of brutality by Sofia places the focus on Batman, whose absence in such a critical situation has already sparked the curiosity of fans.
