The Sims 4 expansion, titled Enchanted by Nature, will be released on July 10. This new installment delves into the world of fantasy, introducing new elements centered around nature and magic, in stark contrast to the previous expansion, Businesses & Hobbies.
Of fairies, magic, and other fine herbs
Among the most notable features are the nature-related skills and the inclusion of Fairy Sims, a new type of character that can customize their appearance with wings, skin tones, and magical accessories. Additionally, these Sims have unique skills and different life paths, which opens up a world of creative possibilities for players. The expansion also introduces the new aspiration Nature Nomad, which allows Sims to live closer to nature and engage in outdoor activities.
The reveal trailer shows a new location called Innisgreen, where Sims can engage in gardening and resource gathering, although they will have to face new challenges such as diseases like Greenie Meanie and Emotional Void. To counter this, Sims will have access to items like the apothecary table, where they can create potions to improve their mood and cure their ailments.
Additionally, Enchanted by Nature maintains and expands interactions between packages, suggesting a richer and more varied gameplay. This expansion accompanies a themed event, Nature’s Calling, which invites players to immerse themselves in these new mechanics before its release. Although there is still time until its launch, it can already be pre-ordered on Steam and the EA store.
