Tim Allen has shared exciting details about the upcoming Pixar movie, Toy Story 5, which will focus on the cowgirl Jessie. During a recent appearance on the show Live with Kelly and Mark, Allen, who returns to voice Buzz Lightyear, mentioned that the story involves a series of fun antics in which multiple versions of his character will be presented. “It’s a fantastic story. I can only share a little bit about it”, Allen commented. The movie is scheduled to be released on June 19, 2026.
Toy Story: Jessie Edition
The return of Tim Allen comes alongside other iconic cast members, including Tom Hanks as Woody and Joan Cusack as Jessie. Additionally, Anna Faris will join, lending her voice to a new character named Lilypad, who will be a tablet. Allen suggested that the plot will include technological elements and hinted that there will be surprises for viewers, saying that “it will be amazing” and that it will contain “really cool things you haven’t seen before”.
