At this point, saying that Apple TV+ is the future of streaming platforms is obvious. With an increasing number of productions under its belt and a clear fascination for science fiction, it’s evident that the VOD service is doing everything right to soon rival Netflix and HBO Max. And now they’ve just released another trailer that predicts an even more exciting future.
Monarch: The Legacy of Monsters has just unveiled its first trailer — a month ago, they released a teaser — in which it becomes clear that, beyond being a fiction that is part of Legendary’s Monsterverse, which already has four productions to its name, it is a series with its own narrative. It has the potential to become one of the best pieces in the catalog.
A series filled with epic and monsters
Monarch: The Legacy of Monsters picks up after the moment of the battle between Godzilla and the Titans that destroyed the city of San Francisco in the previous film. At this point, two siblings try to uncover the secret that connects their family with the organization behind these monsters, leading them straight to their father.
Set to premiere on the streaming platform next November 17th, the series stars Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt in the leading roles. But perhaps most interesting is the talent behind the production. Chris Black, the writer of Invincible and Desperate Housewives, has teamed up with comic book writer Matt Fraction to create this series.

The first season of Monarch will consist of ten episodes and aims to expand a cataclysmic universe that continues to grow and has a legion of followers. Undoubtedly, it is a very interesting addition to continue expanding Apple TV+‘s catalog.
