I don’t know to what extent the fandoms of The Boys and ‘Mortal Kombat’ are interconnected, but those who are right in the middle must be rubbing their hands with the arrival of Homelander, the supervillain that many confuse – who knows why – with a hero. Well, we already have a date on which this cheerful lad is going to join the cast of fighters, with the idea of not leaving a single one alive.
Homecoming
Over the past few years, ‘Mortal Kombat’ has included fighters like Freddy Krueger, Robocop, or Terminator, among many others, but in this case, from Mortal Kombat 1, it’s different: it’s a superpowerful comic character that has transitioned to a TV series and then to a video game… and promises to leave absolutely nothing in its path beyond a wasteland. And you can see it starting on June 11th, when it can finally be purchased.
Well, unless you have a Kombat Pack, in which case you will be able to start testing it from next Tuesday, the 4th. In particular, Homelander will have laser beams in his eyes and a series of fatalities that make the series itself look ridiculous in terms of gore. And it’s already pretty brutal. ‘The boys’, by the way, seems as indestructible as ‘Mortal Kombat’… and just as good. It’s a pleasure to embrace pop culture.
