Deadpool and Wolverine is already in theaters and, although you have to see it on the biggest screen possible to appreciate it well, millions of people have already asked themselves: when will it arrive on Disney+?
The honest answer to this question is: we don’t know. However, that won’t stop us from speculating on when it will arrive on one of the best streaming services in the world. Armed with evidence of when other movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) made the jump to Disney Plus, we can hypothesize when it might happen.
Does Deadpool and Wolverine have a release date on Disney Plus?
As we have already said, not yet. The Phase 5 Marvel movie will not be released in US theaters until July 26th – it was released one day earlier in some international territories – so it will be a while before you see Deadpool and Wolverine in your home.
And if it is as successful as industry experts suggest (it is expected to gross over one billion dollars at the global box office), its run in theaters could be long.
In any case, we can estimate its streaming release date based on the releases of other recent MCU movies on the service. Take a look at the following list to see when all recent Marvel movies premiered on Disney Plus, starting with Black Widow in 2021:

- Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: 70 days
- Eternals: 68 days
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: 47 days
- Thor: Love and Thunder: 62 days
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: 82 days
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: 89 days
- Guardians of the Galaxy 3: 91 days
- The Marvels: 89 days
After an irregular release schedule, ranging from 47 to 82 days, Marvel has established a more regular pattern of releases since Black Panther 2.
Now, MCU movies are routinely released in 91 days. Currently, MCU movies usually arrive on the streaming service about 13 weeks (approximately 90 days) after their theatrical release.
With this data, when can we expect Deadpool and Wolverine to arrive on Disney Plus? An early October release would be the most likely option, considering the nearly 90-day interval between recent movie releases in theaters and their debuts on Disney Plus.
