Millions of people play video games on consoles and PCs. Hundreds of millions do it from their mobile phones. Gaming on smartphones is a reality that brings in more money and players than one might think.

Call of Duty: Warzone DOWNLOAD

When Activision announced Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile in 2022, the developer said they planned to release the game sometime this year, shortly after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II was available.

Now, Activision has released a trailer for the mobile title, revealing that it will be released sometime in the spring of 2024. There is still no specific release date, but interested players can already pre-register for it on Google Play or the App Store.

What can we expect from Warzone for mobile?

Warzone Mobile is a battle royale experience that will host up to 120 players on the same map. The operators in the matches, weapons, locations, and combat are expected to be familiar to current Warzone fans.

It will also share a Battle Pass, as well as cross-progression, with Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0. Although the game won’t be available until 2024, fans in Australia, Chile, Norway, and Sweden have been able to play it since earlier this year.

This ‘limited release’ version provides Activision with a way to test the game with a broader audience than its Closed Alpha, allowing them to find and fix more bugs, conduct stress tests on matches, and gather as much feedback as possible about the gameplay and different elements of the title.

In addition to announcing a new release date for Warzone Mobile, Activision has also revealed that the game will include access to Rebirth Island from day one. The favorite map of fans of the Resurgence mode will make its debut on mobile devices and has apparently been ‘carefully and specially constructed’ for this game.

As for those anticipating Modern Warfare III, Raven Software has confirmed at the COD Next event that players will be able to cancel slides in the game, a mechanic that was notably absent in Modern Warfare II.
