If you’re a fan of ChatGPT, the popular conversational AI tool, you may have noticed that it doesn’t come with its own API. This can be a problem if you want to integrate ChatGPT with other applications or services and means that while we all might have had a lot of fun playing around with ChatGPT, apart from a few niche ideas, users have been struggling to integrate it into their businesses.
Now, depending on what you want it for, there is the possibility that you could use OpenAI’s API access to the GPT-3 large language model upon which ChatGPT is based. However, ChatGPT and GPT-3 are not the same thing and if you are looking for something a bit more chatbotty than AI wordsmith, there may be a more suitable solution for your needs. Step forward, ChatSonic, which enables the easy integration of ChatGPT into third-party apps and services.
One of the key features of ChatSonic’s API, which also puts it at an advantage over ChatGPT is its integration with Google’s knowledge graph. The knowledge graph is the tool Google uses to populate snippets of information in Google search results. This integration means ChatSonic can stay up to date with all the latest information on the internet rather than being limited to information from 2021 and before.
ChatSonic also allows for the creation of digital artwork and images using AI. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for designers and artists, who can use ChatGPT to generate unique and original visual content to go along with the chatbot conversations they are incorporating into their products.
WriteSonic, the team behind the ChatSonic API tool also claims that it enables longer and more natural conversations than users will get with ChatGPT. This stems from ChatSonic’s ability to remember past comments and answer follow-up questions, making it an ideal tool for customer service, where the ability to have a continuous conversation with a customer is crucial.
Building on this functionality, the WriteSonic team have also developed the ability to create customized avatars to go with the ChatSonic API. These avatars can then become the face of your online company or service.
In conclusion, ChatGPT may not come with its own API, but ChatSonic’s API offers a range of powerful features that make it easy to integrate ChatGPT into any project. From its integration with Google’s knowledge graph to its ability to generate digital artwork and enable natural, continuous conversations, ChatSonic’s API offers interesting possibilities to anyone looking to incorporate ChatGPT-like functionalities into their digital business.
As if the lawsuit against Twitter wasn’t enough, Elon Musk is now in hot water with his Tesla company. South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission is issuing a US$2.2 million fine against the electric car business for false advertising. Apparently, it has to do with false information pertaining to the driving range and how fast the vehicles recharge.
Since Tesla established itself in the Asian country in 2015, it’s sold about 45,812 units, according to September 2022 numbers. The company advertised specific numbers regarding how quickly the vehicles recharge and how far they can drive on full batteries. It looks like it may have been false marketing, as many South Korean vehicle owners are complaining.
It’s actually not the first time I’m seeing Tesla complaints this week. Movie maker and screenwriter, Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie, upcoming Gran Turismo movie), tweeted that the window on his Tesla vehicle randomly shattered. Many Twitter fans commented that the same thing happened to them. It’s ironic, as Elon Musk made a video showing the strength of these windows by throwing a metal ball against one.
Has anyone ever heard of a Tesla window spontaneously cracking on its own? For no reason? I’m sitting in car and this just happened… pic.twitter.com/vRA8hb31En
One hilarious chap also commented that Neill probably lost his blue check mark.
Jokes aside, we’ll have to see how Tesla addresses the concerns of the Fair Trade Commission in South Korea. It also sent a report about a cancellation policy that doesn’t have sufficient information for consumers. This goes against an electronic commerce act in the country, which the commission holds highly. It could result in buyers losing money if the terms and conditions of canceling orders aren’t spelled out correctly.
It would be great if we could get some comments from Elon Musk about the state of his current companies. At the moment, Tesla and Twitter appear to be in deep water. The SpaceX project is the one that interests me the most, as I love astronomy and the study of planetary objects. I dearly want us to succeed in moving to Mars. At the moment, the project is trying to raise funds to the tune of US$750 million for the year ahead.
There are few people in the world today that don’t know Ken Block, young and middle-aged. All three generations have heard his name at some point in their lives, known for his illustrious racing career. It is with the utmost sadness and a tear in my eye that I inform you of Ken Block’s passing.
I’m pretty sure you’ve seen the news already on social media, but this is my obituary for an amazing human being. I first heard about Ken Block when I was racing Gymkhana events on Dirt 3. I was a bit slow on the uptake, though, as many others had known for many years by then. I’ve seen his face in local motorsport and car magazines several times. To say the man was a legend is putting it mildly.
Most adrenaline-fueled fanatics followed Ken Block’s career. For most of us, he stood out on the rally tracks as one of the most phenomenal racers. It went beyond vehicles and drifting, though. He had a DC Shoes company he started in 1994, and he co-founded Hoonigan Industries. The latter is a media business that has a keen focus on young drivers and racers, helping them step into this fast-paced world.
Let’s not forget his influence on the world of motorsport racing. Besides the Dirt franchise, it was also featured in other games, such as Forza.
Not much is known about Ken Block’s death at this point. Hoonigan’s statement on Instagram simply states that he died in a snowmobile accident, so we’ll wait to hear if there’s more news. Our hearts and condolences go out to his wife, Lucy, and his three amazing daughters. One of them, Lia, and Lucy have been by his side, often competing with him on the track. It’s so wonderful to see the family enjoying a passionate hobby together.
In other snow-related news, Jeremy Renner (we call him Hawkeye) is in critical condition at the moment. Two days ago, he was taken to hospital after a severe storm hit his home at Lake Tahoe. He was plowing snow when the incident happened, but we’re waiting on more details.
Every month, Valve releases a Steam Hardware & Software Survey that showcases which operating systems and PC configurations run the platform’s games. The latest report shows that Windows 11 doesn’t have much of a presence, but it’s increasing. At the moment, it has a monopoly of just under 29%, with Windows 10 at 65%, Linux at 1.38%, and Apple at 2.48%. Windows 7 lingers behind at 1.66%.
As you may have seen from our past articles, Windows 10 users have been hesitant to move over to Windows 11. Many of them aren’t sure they want to make the move, while others just don’t have the system requirements needed to upgrade. The TPM requirement is also a massive issue, but some have found a way to upgrade without meeting it.
The Steam Hardware and Software Survey has plenty of other stats, which I won’t share here since it’s incredibly boring for laymen like you and me. If any of you have a striking interest in seeing comparisons in line with memory, CPU, physical cores, and other hardware specs, please be my guest and check the complete report.
The main factor is that the report shows how many Steam members still haven’t moved over to Windows 11. You need to keep in mind that it’s optional to send your specifications to Valve whenever you play games on the platform. There’s a good chance it’s not a 100% pure reflection of all users at the moment.
It will be interesting to see what that percentage will be at the end of 2023. With all the new updates for Windows 11, we should see more people upgrading from Windows 7 and 10. Of course, it depends on if they can finance upgrading their computer systems, which isn’t getting any cheaper. While we thought technology would stop being expensive as time went on, inflation and rising economic costs have proved us wrong.
Hopefully, the anticipated games of 2023 will see more Windows 11 users on Steam. Also, we’re expecting Windows 10 support to end within the next year or more, which should certainly drive the increase in upgrades.

Last week, I wrote two articles on Andrew Tate. The first involved Greta Thunberg owning him in a Twitter faceoff. The very next day, the Romanian government imprisoned him after they saw a local pizza box in a retaliation video. It was that Friday night that I went on Twitter and saw a Twitter Circle discussion about the arrest, and if people believed he was guilty or innocent.
Even though it was a few days ago, that discussion is still running wild in my head. Both sides of the story were looked at, with some Tate supporters and non-Tate supporters sharing their views on the events. Here’s a summary of what happened in that Twitter Circle, which I feel is worth discussing.
I’m going to steer clear of using real names, or Twitter handles as much as possible. It’s the main points I want to bring across. You need to see this video for some perspective, though.
Is Andrew Tate guilty?
One of the main discussions was obviously whether or not Andrew Tate is guilty of the accused rape, human trafficking, and money laundering. The host had brought some well-known public figures along who attested to Tate’s character, saying they never noticed anything suspicious in his behavior. Apparently, Andrew turned their lives around, and if he had even committed these crimes, they had never seen it.
On the other side of the court was everyone else. The other members of the Twitter Circle questioned these famous names, trying to pry hard enough to see if there were cracks. One specific female member hit the right spot, asking the right questions that were in my mind too.
While we don’t have any of the facts or evidence, those who supported him asked why he would need to traffick women or rape them. They said that, when people like him have so much money, women tend to flock to men like Tate. Also, surely someone would have picked up on this behavior.
Heading back to those who don’t support him, they felt otherwise. The lady I liked went as far as to say that there have been serial killers with family living with them for more than 20 years who didn’t know what they were up to. Just because you don’t see the behavior, it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
There were two specific supporters that were called in to speak on behalf of Tate. One question that was repeatedly asked of them was this: If it is revealed that he’s guilty, would they reflect back on their times together and think, ‘Damn, maybe I was wrong.’ I sat on the edge of my pillow that 1 am Saturday morning, wondering what they would say.
All they did was dance around the question, saying they couldn’t see it. They continued saying that they’re simply testifying to the man’s character, and he’s going to be free when it’s discovered he’s innocent. Not once did they actually answer the question that we so badly wanted to be answered.
Who was responsible for the arrest: Greta, the pizza box, or Tate himself?
Another interesting topic I wasn’t expecting was who was responsible for Andrew Tate’s arrest. While I was firmly on the point that Greta started it all, I’m now in the court of those who said it was Tate’s fault. Not only was he the one who started the Twitter content of wits, but he’s the one who was clever enough to place the pizza box in the video he posted later.
If you missed the whole incident, Andrew Tate decided to bite back at Greta when she replied to his original tweet with smalldickenergy@getalife.com. When he responded in the video, he told someone to bring him pizza boxes that can’t be recycled, aiming at her love for the environment. Sadly, it was the name of the pizza restaurant that tipped the Romanian government off that he was in the country.
They released him in April 2022
The top supporters of Tate in the Twitter Circle were adamant about bringing up the point that the Romanian government had brought Andrew in with suspicions of rape and human trafficking in April 2022. Their point was that they released him as they had no evidence of any such crime. To them, this signaled that he was innocent, and he’ll be proven innocent again.
The other side wasn’t so convinced. Many shared my thoughts that the government has been investigating him all this time, waiting for more evidence to appear so they could officially send him to jail. As a matter of fact, Tate wasn’t supposed to be in the country after that incident, especially when he made a claim that Romania’s laws basically allow you to get away with anything.
So, that’s one of the main issues. They’ve been waiting for proof that he was still in the country. Now that they have him booked, they’re following up on those original charges and more. There are now six victims claiming they were raped or involved with the human trafficking scam known as ‘The Loverboy Method.’ You can research that, as I’m not going to get into that sick gimmick.
Four were arrested, not only the Tate brothers
While the focus is on Andrew Tate and his brother, few mention that two other people were also arrested in this so-called crime syndicate. This was another point of discussion, and many in the Twitter Circle wanted to know who the other two people were. According to the host, there were two women involved, and one of them was a former Romanian police officer.
It seems like this officer was involved in the April 2022 incident, after which she no longer worked for the force (insert Star Wars quote here). If the claims are correct, it looks like she continued working with the syndicate, making extra money on the side. It wasn’t a long discussion, but the host informed us that the office was let go after the arrest.
The Tates are detained for 30 days
One exciting event that happened during the discussion was that the judge had ruled that the Tate brothers be detained in jail for 30 days pending further investigation. Up until that point, we had all thought they were only being held for 24 hours. When it was mentioned in the Circle, the discussions erupted with noise until the host silenced everyone so the others could speak one at a time.
Those who believed Tate was guilty said it’s clear that there was some evidence of wrongdoing, due to the decision to hold them longer. The supporters fought against this claim, saying that the government has it in for the brothers. Then you had those who felt the government was simply doing due diligence, making sure they had enough on them before they proceeded with a case.
During the discussion, many concerned members were concerned about videos and tweets flying around saying that the Tates were released within 24 hours. It was discovered afterward that people were stoking the fire, sharing news from the April 2022 event with the intention of spreading false news. The host confirmed again that they were detained for 30 days.
The Matrix finally got Andrew Tate
When Andrew Tate was arrested, he uttered some words that the Matrix and its agents finally got him. I thought it odd, until I listened to the Twitter Circle. I had no idea there were so many people that believe the Matrix is real.
The Tate supporters went as far as to say that the Matrix goes after those that want success, taking away their wealth when they discover the truth. On the opposite side, they said that Tate is using this belief in the Matrix to hide his crimes, making it look like the government and virtual world is after him.
There was also a discussion of Tate converting to Islam and hiding behind his new religion. I don’t really want to get into that matter, but many of the people in the group were firmly against Tate using his new Islam faith to hide his crimes.
The gist of the Andrew Tate discussion
There were many other discussion points, and I was up until at least 3 am Saturday morning listening to the debate. For the most part, many of the members feel that Andrew Tate is guilty, and they’ve been awaiting this outcome for a long time. Those who supported him only bore the character witness, but they can only tell us about the times they were actually with him. When questioned about the times they were not, they refused to speculate.
The one common thread was, “We’ll wait to see what the verdict is.” Even one of the famous supporters wasn’t willing to pass judgment, just saying we’ll have to wait and see. However, there lingered a massive air of belief that his wealth was from money laundering and preying on women with the Loverboy Method.

It looks like Twitter’s woes are only increasing for the company. While Elon Musk seems to be doing well on the Tesla and mission to Mars front, the same can be said for the social media platform. Columbia Reit has filed a lawsuit against Twitter for failing to pay office rent to the tune of $136,250.
If you’ve been following my articles these last few months, you’ll notice the ups and downs of Twitter lately. We’ve seen Elon Musk make a poll on if he should resign as CEO, blaming bots when he lost and then saying he’s going to employ an idiot for the position. Even after so many employees left the company, it was clear that things were only going to go downhill from there.
Now, the head office of Twitter in San Francisco is in trouble. It failed to pay rent recently, prompting Columbia Reit as the landlord to request immediate payment. Since none was received, it went ahead and filed a lawsuit to claim for the financial loss it incurred. To make matters worse, Twitter was sued when it didn’t pay for two chartered flights.
So this begs two questions. Firstly, does Elon or Twitter believe they are above paying rent or for flights now? Alternatively, does this situation highlight that the company is in financial trouble, and not even Elon can save them now.
It would be interesting to know if Twitter was in this sort of trouble before Elon bought them out. Perhaps that’s why the company was so eager for someone to purchase the platform. They saw the financial crisis coming and needed someone to bail them out.
There’s no news as yet as to what will happen to the San Francisco office. If Twitter doesn’t pay the landlord, it means plenty of staff will be without a place to work. Or maybe these are the guys that left the company last year, and Elon doesn’t know what to do with the office space as yet.
