A few days ago, Microsoft made the sad news of the closure of three major studios, Arkhan Austine, Tango Gameworks, and Alpha Dog Games public. Since then, the Redmond company has received all kinds of criticism, both from the public and from the industry itself.
In the midst of all this turmoil, The Verge reported that Microsoft Gaming executives would be discussing whether or not to make some changes to help increase revenue. Although Microsoft proclaimed that the Xbox division had a 62% increase in revenue in its last fiscal third quarter of 2024, the vast majority was thanks to Activision Blizzard, acquired by Microsoft in 2023.
According to The Verge, Microsoft executives are reportedly discussing whether or not to add the latest Call of Duty games to Game Pass. So far, the only Activision Blizzard title available on the service was Diablo IV. However, what is most interesting is what this could mean for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

The title developed by Ninja Theory will be released exclusively for Xbox, PC, and Game Pass on May 21, 2024. However, rumors suggest that it has been considered for release on PS5 at some point. Could it end up happening? So far, Microsoft has already released four exclusive Xbox and PC titles for other platforms earlier this year, so it wouldn’t be a crazy idea.
