Cyber Knights: Flashpoint, a new turn-based tactical RPG, has captured the attention of fans by merging elements from two giants of the industry: Baldur’s Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Developed by Trese Brothers, this game places players in the role of a team of mercenaries who use advanced technology and unique skills to carry out various heists in a dystopian future.

Tactical RPG in a dystopian future

The game stands out for its turn-based tactical movement system and specialized abilities, similar to the mechanics of the XCOM series. Players must build their team, equip them properly for missions, and execute tactics in an environment where evasion and stealth are crucial for success. As they progress, they also have the option to employ louder combat techniques, although this can lead to difficult-to-manage situations.

The combat in Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is described as challenging with powerful skills and advanced weaponry that require strategic coordination. Players can take advantage of an interactive environment and an enemy artificial intelligence system that encourages creative stealth options, allowing users to eliminate enemies one by one or create distractions while using advanced technology to evade danger.

After a period of early access on Steam, Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is now available to the public. Additionally, the game is compatible with Steam Deck, making it easier for players to enjoy the experience on the go. Since its launch, the developer has shown a strong commitment to the game, releasing nine updates in the first two weeks and over 250 patches during early access, quickly adapting to community feedback.
