Netflix has once again lit up the screen with its new British thriller ‘Locked In.’ The film, directed by Nour Wazzi and written by Rowan Joffe, aims to entangle the viewer in a web of secrets and surprising twists, and it undoubtedly succeeds in immersing you in the plot from start to finish. The protagonists are Famke Janssen and Rose Williams, and they undoubtedly deliver two of the roles of their lives.
Locked In’ follows Lina (Williams) in a murky entanglement with her complicated mother-in-law, played by Janssen. Love affairs and dark desires unleash a chaos of betrayals, secrets, and even much worse crimes. However, the film poses a very interesting debate that it doesn’t reveal until the end: who is the real victim in this chaos and who can be trusted?
A movie full of twists where absolutely nothing is as it seems
The plot of ‘Locked In’ starts with a medical mystery in the heart of London, following a nurse. But what seems like a singular event quickly triggers a rollercoaster of rivalries, deceit, and terror. Yes, terror. Because the movie hides big surprises that will delight fans of the genre.
The cast, with Williams, Janssen, and other talents like Alex Hassell, Finn Cole, and Anna Friel, elevates this contemporary thriller and puts it on par with other modern Netflix thrillers like the recent ‘Reptile,’ starring Benicio del Toro and Justin Timberlake.

The production of ‘Locked In’ is handled by Neon Films, under the direction of Nicky Bentham, known for her work on ‘The Duke.’ Available since November 1st, it has already become one of the most-watched titles in dozens of countries, and it is expected that more and more people will discover it, further enhancing its reputation.
