Nicolas Cage stars in “the scariest movie of the year”, and the first clip is spectacular

This 2024 is such a gift for horror fans. We’ve had several months of incredible releases, like The Last Late Night, Inmaculate, and A Quiet Place: Day 1. However, ever since its festival run, there’s been talk about Longlegs, which many are calling “the most terrifying movie of the year” and even of recent times.

Starring none other than Nicolas Cage, the film has just released an exclusive first clip showing the actor’s appearance in the movie, which until now was a big secret. Undoubtedly, the hype couldn’t be higher after what has been released so far:

In Longlegs, we will see Lee Harker (Maika Monroe), a new and talented FBI agent, who has been assigned an unsolved case involving a serial killer. As the investigation becomes more complicated and hidden evidence is uncovered, Harker realizes she may have a personal connection to the ruthless killer and must act quickly to prevent another murder. A kind of new version of The Silence of the Lambs that’ll be released in theaters August 2nd.
