Nothing has laid out its 2027 smartphone roadmap, and it’s a bigger one: roughly six phones slated for 2027, along with a target of 50% shipment growth. That’s a clear step up from the 2026 lineup, which is expected to include the Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro, and Phone 4b.
The idea is to cover more price points and reach more kinds of buyers. But according to Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis, the squeeze on RAM and memory costs isn’t going away anytime soon. He expects that pressure to stay high until the second half of 2027, and that will keep affecting pricing and launch timing across the industry.
You can already see the effect in the cheaper Nothing Phone 4b. It was brought in to keep the company present in the lower-end tiers. At the same time, the CMF by Nothing Phone 3 Pro was reportedly shelved, and whether CMF by Nothing phones return in 2027 seems to depend on how the market looks by then.
For people who follow Nothing closely, that’s the part to watch. The company isn’t just padding out the lineup with more models. It’s trying to turn a wider portfolio into actual shipment volume.
There are retail and manufacturing plans in motion too. Nothing is expected to open two more exclusive stores in India, both in major metro cities, in Q1 2027. That would build on the Nothing store it opened in Bengaluru in February 2026. The company also plans to expand local manufacturing in India for wearables and more audio products, while pushing harder in the U.S. audio market.
