As of January 31, 2024, it is no longer possible to legally purchase Spec Ops: The Line on any digital platform. Even GOG, which is the store that has been standing the longest, has suddenly and without any ceremony removed the game. This has led to much speculation among players.
Despite everything, it seems that what has happened has little to do with possible conspiracies and a lot to do with poor communication from 2K. In addition to the classic problems of games with licensed music.
