iPhone 15 Pro Titanium alters color with fingerprints

Guess what? The iPhone 15 Pro and its big sibling, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, have made their grand entrance. But, oh boy, there’s a tiny hiccup. Some users have noticed a little color change on those shiny new titanium frames. Apple, being the good sport they are, didn’t shy away from this. In a recent document (hat tip to MacRumors for the scoop), Apple mentioned:

“For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the oil from your skin might temporarily alter the color of the outside band. Wiping your iPhone with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth will restore the original look.”

Before you start imagining your brand-new iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max looking like it’s been through a color run, take a deep breath. A simple swipe with a “soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth” and voilà! Your phone’s back to its dazzling self. But, if you’re anything like us and want to keep things pristine, maybe it’s time to shop for a snazzy case.

Switching gears, Apple decided to jazz things up this year. Instead of the usual stainless steel, they’ve gone with a brushed titanium finish for the Pro models. Fancy, right? But here’s the catch: this might be why those pesky fingerprints are crashing the party. If you’re the laid-back type, a few smudges here and there might not ruffle your feathers.

Below you can see the image shared via MacRumors:

And let’s not forget, the critics are in love! They can’t stop raving about the iPhone 15’s top-tier build quality. Holding it feels like a dream, and the fingerprint fiasco? Barely a blip on their radar. So, go on, embrace the tech and the tiny quirks that come with it!

Apple’s switcheroo to titanium for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is like giving them a mini workout regimen. They’ve shed some weight compared to their older siblings, and they’re flexing their anti-corrosion muscles. But, just like that friend who never skips leg day, they’re a tad bulkier.

Now, if you’re eyeing the iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus, they’re rocking the classic aluminum frame. So, no unexpected color-changing magic tricks there. And yes, all four of these iPhone 15 stars come with a sleek glass front and back. Talk about looking sharp!

When it comes to keeping these beauties clean, the drill remains the same. Grab that trusty soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. And remember, no fancy cleaning potions or compressed air. We know it’s tempting, but keep moisture away from those tiny openings. After all, we want our tech to shine, not swim!

For the first time in history, we will be able to play real video games on a mobile thanks to the iPhone 15 Pro

iPhone 15 Pro promises us something that until now mobile phones could not give us: AAA games like console ones in our pockets.

Apple has consistently sought to differentiate itself from its competitors by being at the forefront. Not necessarily by having the most advanced technology, but by always creating devices that set the pace – something that everyone else should aspire to achieve. This hasn’t changed with their new line of mobile devices, the iPhone 15, which has a lot to offer in the realm of video games.

The most notable aspect of the new iPhones can be found when we talk about the Pro and Pro Max versions of the upcoming iPhone 15. As we have previously mentioned, with a starting price of €959 for the basic model with 128GB of storage, they stand out for their 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display and an A16 Bionic chip with 5 cores. So, why are we particularly interested in the Pro version? Because even though its price starts at €1,219, it features an A17 Pro chip with 6 cores. This provides support for ray tracing and for a type of games that mobile devices have never seen before – premium PC and console video games.

In fact, during Apple’s own conference, they have already announced four recent AAA games that will be playable on the iPhone 15. Something that, until last week, seemed completely unthinkable. These games are Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

The first three games will arrive throughout 2023. In fact, Resident Evil Village and Death Stranding have already made appearances in the past to demonstrate the potential of Mac’s graphics API. On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed Mirage won’t be available until the first half of 2024 for iPhone 15 Pro. It will be released on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 5, 2023.

If all of this has piqued your interest, both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will be available starting from September 22nd.

Technically, the iPhone 15 is the cheapest of all iPhones: we’ll explain it to you

Yes, it’s no joke: the iPhone 15 is the cheapest iPhone that Apple has launched in its history. Here you have the explanation.

It’s a fact: the current economic situation is far from being a cause for celebration. Despite this, Apple has kept the prices of the iPhone stable over the past few years with minimal changes (except for some models). Interestingly, this decision by the company has made the iPhone 15 the cheapest that Apple has ever launched in its history when adjusted for inflation.

According to Perfectrec, the new iPhone 15 would be much cheaper compared to the prices the company has had in the past. In their research, they found that the iPhone 15 is the most affordable model since the original iPhone was launched in 2007. To demonstrate this, Perfectrec has grouped all iPhone models with the lowest memory configuration and adjusted their prices for current inflation. The comparison for the basic iPhones looks like this:

For the assembly of these graphics, they divided the iPhones by models. In this case, a comparison was also made with all the iPhone Pro models, and it was found that the iPhone 15 Pro was the cheapest in its entire range.

Despite the data shown, your perception as a consumer may have been very different. If you think that the iPhone has increased in price over the years, you are correct. Apple’s phone has continued to become more expensive since its release, as you can see below:

Price increase, but only on the iPhone 15 Pro Max

This year, Apple has decided to maintain the prices we saw last year with the iPhone 14 except for one: the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The latter has gone up $100 for its lower-capacity model in the U.S. market. However, in other markets things look different.

In the case of Spain, we are spared this rise. In fact, the iPhone 15 Pro Max remains the same (1,469 euros) and the iPhone 15 Pro even drops 100 euros, leaving it at 1,219 euros.
