The modding community of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has taken an unexpected turn with the recent modification known as Sphere World, which transforms the harsh world of the game into a sphere-filled environment. This peculiar modification, created by Nexus user Omniscye, turns characters, animals, and objects into spherical shapes, offering a completely different visual experience. Despite its originality, it seems that the modification has received a moderate reception, with only 23 downloads in its first two days since its release.
Everyone is a sphere, except for men, who do not exist
Omniscye describes its creation enthusiastically: “The spheres have taken over the game! The animals look like spheres, the women are spheres, even the doors are spheres!”, a testament to the humor and absurdity that this modification seeks to implement. Although the premise is fun, there is an important warning for players: using photo mode may cause the game to unexpectedly close.
In addition to Sphere World, Omniscye has released another modification titled No One Cares, which makes NPCs completely ignore the protagonist, Henry, making it impossible to complete missions. This feature has raised concerns among users, who should be cautious when using it in save files they wish to keep. The mod’s description states: “NPCs will go about their daily lives, they just won’t care about what you do.”
Despite the criticism and technical issues that these modifications present, it is undeniable that they have generated great expectations among game fans. The creativity of the modding community in just one month is remarkable, which hints at a promising future, especially with the arrival of official modification tools on the horizon. The question that many are asking now is: what other surprises will this community bring us?
