Good news for dance fans: we finally have a new update for Friday Night Funkin’.
If you haven’t heard of it yet, Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm video game with a fun aesthetic and mechanics that will take you back to the 2000s. Released in 2020, the game was developed by four creators from Newgrounds: Ninjamuffin99, PhantomArcade, evilsk8r, and Kawai Sprite.
Although it has a simple mechanics, it is still very addictive. Players take on the role of a character known simply as “Boyfriend” and must defeat a series of opponents in singing and rap duels. When playing, you must press the keys at the right time to keep up with the rhythm of the music and accumulate points.
For days now, the weekly newsletter has been published on Reddit and through it, we have been able to learn about the arrival of several news. Some of them had already been leaked before (like the Disktroid song), but it also confirms the arrival of new content to “sink our teeth into”. Among them, there are new visual features and an improved engine. The biggest update of Hit Single to date has also arrived, with Yourself* and “much more”.
