The latest update of Fallout 76 brings a series of improvements and bug fixes that promise to significantly enhance the gaming experience. Available for all platforms, this patch requires a variable storage space ranging from 12.1 GB on Steam to 23.1 GB on Xbox.
The new update of Fallout 76 addresses all kinds of issues, including some of great importance that were affecting the completion of important missions such as “Sins of the Father”, “Buried Treasure” or “Honor Bound”.
The new patch also nerfs the explosion damage calculation of the Cremator, a quite powerful weapon that had turned out to be more potent than expected. Although this may disappoint some players with specific builds for this weapon, Bethesda assures to have made adjustments to improve it in other aspects, such as increased fire damage over time (DOT) or reduced fuel consumption.
In addition to these corrections, the update introduces significant changes in the management of crafting recipes for events and seasonal items. Previously, once obtained, the items could not be acquired again and could not be shared. However, now it is possible to obtain duplicates and share them with other players, which makes it easier to obtain recipes and encourages collaboration between veteran and novice players.
Among other quality of life improvements, it includes a “maximum” option when buying or selling items; alphabetical sorting of the World Activity; a smoother scroll bar in the inventory, and a statistic that shows the amount of ammunition consumed per shot for weapons.
