In a matter of weeks, Apple will hold one of the most anticipated events by the tech community: the annual presentation of the new iPhone and Apple Watch. This year, we will witness the announcement of the iPhone 16 and the Apple Watch Series 10 (or X, as some call it). For now, this is all we know about them.
This year, the new Apple Watches will come with very interesting updates. Rumors indicate that the future Series 10 could come with a larger screen, something that would be maintained in both versions. If this is the case, the smaller model would have a 45 mm case, which is currently the largest option. On the other hand, the larger size would be 49 mm, the same dimensions as the Apple Watch Ultra.
However, not everything is going big. The new Apple Watch Series 10 could incorporate a thinner case, giving them a slimmer look. As for power, it would increase thanks to the inclusion of a faster chip, one that could also enable the execution of Apple Intelligence. However, don’t get too excited. For now, that service is only reserved for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
In terms of health, things may not improve much. Some of the rumored features, such as technology to detect hypertension and sleep apnea, may have to wait another year, at least according to Mark Gurman.
Unfortunately, there is hardly any news about the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The only thing that could be stated with some certainty is that it would match the capabilities of the Apple Watch Series 10. We also don’t know if Apple would finally sell their new watches as the “anniversary model.” Although the Apple Watch was announced in 2014, it wasn’t released until 2015. With this in mind, Apple may have a special surprise in store for 2025.
