The summer of 2024 has undoubtedly been marked by sports. Just a month ago we had the Eurocup of football, which ended up going to Spain, and in the last weeks we have had a high-level sports delight with the Paris Olympic Games. Undoubtedly, in these Games we have been able to see everything, but the best has been saved for the end.
With an incredible leap accompanied by the music of Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise himself appeared at the main stadium in Paris to take the Olympic flag from there. Then, a video was shown of how the actor carried the flag to Los Angeles, the location where the 2028 Olympic Games will be held.
Mission Impossible: Olympic Games
Throughout the video we can see Cruise crossing Paris on a motorcycle and then handing over the flag to all kinds of American athletes, who carry it on bikes, rafting, and all kinds of methods, until they reach a stage where the Red Hot Chili Peppers play for an enthusiastic audience. Undoubtedly, it has been a presentation as Hollywood-like as possible, and proof that in 2028 we will have Games full of fireworks.
After winning these Games, the United States is preparing to defend its title in its own country. It is clear that they are going to give it their all to once again defeat China and the rest of the countries in the medal table, and being at home they will have a better chance than ever to achieve it.

Meanwhile, Cruise continues with his Mission Impossible saga, whose next installment, and possibly the last one, will arrive on May 23, 2025. We will see if it manages to live up to what we have already seen, in reality, live at these Olympics.
