We have a release date for the Rick and Morty anime

We now have a release date for the Rick and Morty anime, and while it hasn’t been confirmed 100% that the premiere will be worldwide, it looks like it will be possible to watch it on Max.

Rick and Morty is one of the most important animated series of our time. That hasn’t stopped its cadence from always being erratic and never having problems taking its time to launch projects. That’s why we’ve been waiting for two years since the anime spinoff of Rick and Morty was announced. Although, it seems, that the wait has finally been worth it.

Rick and Morty: The Anime will premiere on Thursday, August 15th at midnight on Adult Swim. This series is directed by Takashi Sano, director of recent successful animes such as the adaptation of the manwha Tower of God. This gives us some assurance that this adaptation will be a quality anime and not just a way to capitalize on the success of Rick and Morty without adding something of its own. Or something closer to the spirit of anime.

If you are interested in watching it and you are not in the United States, you don’t have to worry, Max will premiere the series the day after its television premiere. Although they have not confirmed if it will be a worldwide premiere, there is no reason to believe otherwise, given the success of Rick and Morty, so mark your calendar for Friday, August 16th on Max.
