Comic Con San Diego 2018: Avengers 4, Wonder Woman 1984, Aquaman… Which trailers will debut?

Every year, July brings one of the biggest events for all superhero fans: Comic-Con. So, what’s on the schedule?

Well, we prefer to deliver the bad news before the good news… It’s official: Kevin Feige and the Marvel Studios teams will not be attending this year’s San Diego Comic Con 2018, meaning that neither the Captain Marvel trailer nor the Avengers 4 trailer will debut at this time. Bummer.

It’s always a joy to see the Marvel Studios team together on stage sharing sneak peeks of the movies that we’re dying to see. Fortunately, we can count on the DC Comics heroes to cheer us up!

Indeed, Warner Bros. won’t miss the SDCC, and DC Comics fans have reason to celebrate, because no fewer than three trailers should be unveiled! Patty Jenkins and her team are expected to show the first footage of “Wonder Woman 1984,” and we should also see the first trailers for “Aquaman” and “Shazam!”

As for other studios, Universal should reveal some footage of “Glass,” the long-awaited sequel to “Spilt” with James McAvoy, and the trailer for the reboot of “Halloween.”

Avengers 4: Will the title be revealed along with the first Captain Marvel trailer?

After waiting so long, we can handle a few more months! Indeed, Marvel Studios plans to skip Comic-Con San Diego 2018, so we won’t learn the official title of Avengers 4 or see the first trailer for “Captain Marvel” in July.

Apparently, the two are related, as Kevin Feige announced: “That’ll be after the ‘Captain Marvel’ teaser probably, announcing that title. It’ll be towards the end of the year with however we launch that film.”

This announcement isn’t too surprising, as Marvel Studios is being as secretive as possible about the plot for Avengers 4, which will mark the last chapter of Phase 3 of the MCU and the final clash between our favorite superheroes and Thanos. We don’t even know if the first trailer will show us real footage from the movie or a recap of the events of Infinity War… We can’t wait to learn more!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now compatible with Nintendo Labo

After launching Nintendo Labo a few weeks ago, the Japanese company has announced the arrival of the first compatible game.

With Nintendo Labo, the Big N has promised to revolutionize our way of playing console games. The only problem (until now) was that the game was slightly limited, as Toy-Cons were not compatible with the rest of Nintendo’s game library.

Fortunately, that situation was short-lived, as the Japanese giant recently gave Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a nice update, making it the first game capable of being played with Toy-Con motorbike handlebars. Just imagine: now you can pretend that you’re actually a race car driver on Rainbow Road. We’re not sure if you’re more of a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2 or Zelda person, but it’s worth a try, isn’t it?

To be able to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with Toy-Con handlebars, you’ll still have to get the Nintendo Labo variety kit. If you haven’t already fallen in love with the Big N’s IRL building game, it could indeed be worth it, because thanks to Toy-Con, you can turn the handlebars to take a turn and twist the right handlebar to accelerate.

In short, the sensations claim to be as close as possible to those of a real motorbike (except that this one’s made of cardboard). It’s something to improve your game experience after you discover this great accessory for playing vertical games on the Nintendo Switch.

Star Wars 9: Will Ewan McGregor return as Obi-Wan?

Rumor has it that Obi-Wan, played by Ewan McGregor, will make an appearance in Star Wars IX.

With Rey just starting to master the Force, which Jedi will return to guide her? That’s the big question that fans are asking. If the rumor is confirmed, it will make fans of the character very happy, especially since a film centered on Obi-Wan seems to have been shelved for now.

The film’s costume designer has revealed that Spider-Man will sport a new suit in the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” sequel.

Spidey will get a new look in the next installment of his adventures, coming to theaters on July 10, 2019. In an interview with IndiaWest, Louise Frogley, costume designer for the first movie as well as “Iron Man 3” and “Ant-Man & The Wasp,” said: “I am not actually working on that film, but the costumes will have very big changes because, in the film, Spider-Man becomes more like a man and not a teenager.”

Marvel is making absolutely certain that nothing is leaked about the plot for Avengers 4, to the point of refusing to tell us the title of the film! One, in particular, has caught our attention, and we can’t wait until April 2019 to find out if it’s correct! Reddit user abigfriend speculates that the superheroes who are lucky enough to be alive will use the Quantum Realm to return to the past and recover the Infinity Gems one by one.
Whenever one is recovered, it will be erased from Thanos’ reality and thus disappear from the Infinity Gauntlet.

Obviously, the Mad Titan will try to stop them, using the gauntlet to follow them into the past. He adds that the superheroes who disappeared at the end of Infinity War are not dead but have simply been transported to an alternate reality created by the stones.

We would, therefore, see the same final battle as in Infinity War, except that this time, Thanos would be defeated and the stones destroyed thanks to Wanda and Captain Marvel. We’ll have to wait until April 2019 to discover Avengers 4, whose first synopsis has been revealed!

Others speculate that he’ll appear in season nine of “The Walking Dead” through hallucinations or flashbacks. If Rick Grimes were to die, he might have visions involving old characters, as was the case with Tyreese. Shortly before his death, Rick’s thoughts could turn to Shane, the Governor, or other characters who opposed him.

Although it’s an interesting idea, it implies that Rick would die, something that could harm the popularity of the series.
