The Originals season five: Klaus, Elijah, Freya, Marcel… Who’s going to die?

Season five started on a tragic note, and the next few episodes promise to be just as gut-wrenching. Who among Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and the other characters will die?

The writers of “The Originals” broke fans’ hearts. As you’ll recall, Hayley died tragically and heroically in episode six of season five. Nobody was expecting her death, which shocked fans and even the cast.

The episodes that followed were just as tragic, as we witnessed her funeral and the realization of Elijah, who regained his memory. The eighth episode in season five of “The Originals” ended with two broken men: Klaus and Elijah. We thought we might have a little respite in the next episodes of the series, but that won’t be the case. Julie Plec has teased that there are many more deaths to come… Suffice to say that our worst fears have come true, so who will be the next to die on “The Originals”?

On her Twitter account, Julie Plec shared a morbid message about the rest of season five:

Not very comforting words… So, who’s going to die? No member of the Mikaelson family is safe, and they can all potentially be killed off except Hope, since the spin-off “Legacies” will focus on her. In fact, the series could end with the demise of the immortal family.

We fear the worst for Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, and Freya but also Marcel. At least one, if not several of them will die.

 

Pokémon GO: Trading and Friends are finally here, how will they change things?

It’s a big moment for Niantic. Fire the confetti cannons: trading is here for Pokémon GO, and it promises to revolutionize mobile gameplay.

When trading your Pokémon, you’ll also be able to receive Candy and exclusive bonuses that will vary according to the capture distance of the two Pokémon exchanged.

Another important addition to the game is the Friends feature, which lets you connect with all your buddies and participate in Gym and Raid battles together. Specifically, you’ll now be able to send gifts to your friends to make them happy, and especially to increase your friendship level, allowing you to receive a slew of Raid and Gym battle bonuses and rewards for each level you pass.

As you can see, these two features may well change our way of playing Pokémon GO, which recently unveiled two new Shinies. To take advantage of Trading and Friends, you’ll have to wait a bit longer, specifically until the Pokémon GO Summer Tour kicks off June 30 at Safari Zone Dortmund in Germany.

The film’s timeline is no longer a mystery, but the upcoming 2019 blockbuster still has some secrets left to reveal. As you probably know, our new favorite heroine will face Cheetah in her next adventure, and now we have additional details about this new character, played by Kristen Wiig.

According to a journalist from the U.S. site Vulture, Cheetah won’t be an enemy who comes out of nowhere, appearing in the film only to put Diana Prince to the test. When we meet her, she will be one of Diana’s closest friends before transforming into a bloodthirsty cheetah.

This plot detail will give us a reason to care about the character while giving Diana some extra motivation to save her from the hell she is living in. Cheetah may finally allow DC Comics (and superhero movies in general) to solve their villain problem!

Game of Thrones

Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” ended on a high. A mind-blowing finale in which the Night King brought down the Wall with an ice dragon. The White Walkers are on their way and that sends shivers down our spine. Completely insane footage which suggests that a sequel even more thrilling is yet to come. The end of this season will also be remembered for THE revelation that we had all been waiting for. Now that Daenerys and Jon Snow have finally decided to get together, it has been revealed that they come from the same family. In fact, our young man, under his real name Aegon Targaryen, is the nephew of Khaleesi. It is fair to say that season 8 is eagerly anticipated by fans.

The Flash

Once again, “The Flash” left fans with many questions. Season 4 of the series concluded with a huge revelation: the mysterious daughter is none other than Nora, the daughter of Barry and Iris, who traveled from the future. Did she disrupt the timeline by traveling to the past to find her parents?

Arrow

The 23rd and last episode of season 6 of “Arrow” changed everything. By deciding to get rid of Oliver, screenwriters have struck a heavy blow and have created an explosive and captivating finale. With good reason, the main character ended up in prison after admitting to being the Green Archer. We also saw the tragic death of Quentin Lance. These two events could change everything for the residents of Star City.

How to Get Away with Murder

Season 4 of “How To Get Away with Murder” concluded with a big mystery. Accustomed to open endings, the series has introduced a completely new character who we were not expecting: Gabriel Maddox, a handsome young man who Frank met at University. Since then, rumors have begun to fly around on social media. Is this student the son of Bonnie or Annalise Keating? We will have to wait a little longer to discover the truth!

Ozark

This summer, “Ozark” was a Netflix gem. The plot? Martin Byrde, brilliantly played by Jason Bateman, together with his partner Bruce, made a habit of money laundering for a Mexican drug lord. His only problem? His friend Bruce grew too greedy for his own good, and has been stealing from the cartel. To resolve the situation, the drug lord decided to kill them. However, in a desperate act to save his life, Byrde made him an attractive offer: to continue laundering money. And that is how this family man moved with his wife and kids to a lost corner of Missouri to begin his life of crime. Once there, Byrde has to square off against Jacob Snell, a local drug dealer. Despite the season-long tension, the finale concluded with an even bloodier ending. When they were not expecting it, Snell’s wife killed the Mexican drug lord, leaving Martin Byrde in shock, and us, too.

Station 19

To conclude season 1, “Station 19” made sure it went out with a bang. While firemen were putting out a fire in a building, a large explosion went off. As you may have already assumed, the screenwriters seem to have chosen not to spare any of the main characters. Will Miller, Jack, Vic, Maya, Ben, Travis, and Andy all get out alive? It’s the question on everyone’s mind. And if that were not enough, Captain Pruitt Herrera has passed out in the barracks. We can certainly expect the sequel to be a somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster!

Jane The Virgin

The Season Finale of season 4 of “Jane The Virgin” is most certainly one of the most noteworthy of them all. Although we had believed him to be dead for more than four years – and despite having cried ourselves dry after that scene – Michael made his grand return to the series! The unexpected comeback left viewers flabbergasted.

What a shock for Jane! Could it be Rose wearing a mask? Does Michael have a long-lost twin, has he lost his memory, or did he simply fake his own death? There are many questions left to be answered!

 

iPhone X 2018: The model with LCD screen will increase production

Today´s news is all about the future iPhone X. According to recent rumors from the Wall Street Journal, Apple is placing all its bets on the LCD model and increasing its production.

The phone is expected to make a comeback, and with good cause: the iPhone X 2018 will be split into three different models. One equipped with an LCD panel, and the other two with OLED technology. However, it´s the first one that most interests us since, according to the Wall Street Journal, Apple has stepped up the pace on the production of these mobile screens, aiming to make it the most accessible model of this 2018 batch.

Such news would suggest that Apple predicts strong sales for the 2018 iPhone 8 with LCD screen. We are also talking about a sales price in the $800 ballpark.

We will undoubtedly see a decline in the price of iPhones with OLED screens, especially for those in 2019, when the technology becomes less expensive. The Cupertino-based company will be able to afford to do so once it no longer depends on Samsung (who recently had one of their phones burn a car).

As a reminder, the production cost of OLED screens for Apple by the Korean giant is around 100 dollars for each iPhone X. It would seem that the American manufacturer would do itself a favor by using LCD screens in the 2018 iPhone X, without mentioning all the users who would be attracted by the model’s more accessible price.

 

Jurassic World Evolution: a successful consumer management game – our review

I have always dreamt of being John Hammond and going on a crazy spending spree. (“We spared no expense.”)

With Jurassic World Evolution, that dream can now come true! The game didn’t have the best of timing, as it had to be released in the middle of the E3 expo, so as to coincide with the premiere of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” Nevertheless, with Frontier Developments at the helm, it was inevitable that the game would attract considerable attention, especially after the success of Planet Coaster. The combination of a theme park construction and management game and the “Jurassic Park” universe is the stuff dreams are made of! The only problem is that the latter has a tendency to suffer by comparison.

Forget about Planet Coaster

Let’s begin by making one thing clear: don’t expect to find another Planet Coaster in Jurassic World Evolution. If Planet Coaster allowed users to build incredible creations from scratch, Jurassic World Evolution rivals that with the inventive objects available in the game, as well as being much more interactive, and much less orientated towards creation. The same is true on the management side, as the game´s crowd system has been simplified, although that isn’t really important, because by sacrificing these aspects which are so specific to Planet Coaster, JWE has gained something even more invaluable: the gameplay is really easy to grasp.

Simple gameplay, yet still full of interesting details

I have spent a lot of time playing Planet Coaster, and I have to admit that starting new games is difficult, as you have to waste lots of time with the learning curve. JWE has the advantage of being fun even in the first few minutes of play, and the game mechanics are really easy to get used to, whether that be for building the park or sending archaeologists abroad to collect and extract the DNA which will be used to create different types of dinosaurs. The more intricate details of the game are equally as easy to pick up, such as making sure our dinosaurs can’t escape by enclosing the arena with electric fencing or the different services on offer to visitors. The terraforming tools remain basic yet effective.

Too easy?

Simple gameplay and easy mechanics doesn´t necessarily mean the game is easy. With 5 different islands to manage, the game becomes increasingly difficult and taking care of the dinosaurs, looking out for storms, tornadoes, power-cuts, or sabotages in the three different game factions makes conquering the gameplay towards the end all the more interesting. Completing missions to gain the loyalty of the three factions offers a small bonus point. The only big criticism I have with JWE is that once you understand how it works, you end up playing each new island using the same strategy that helped you conquer the previous ones. Despite that, the pleasure of seeing your Triceratops, Raptors, T-Rex or Diplodocus leave their enclosure never gets old.

Clever game

It is clear that Jurassic World Evolution has been designed as a consumer management game. Smooth, free of overly complex gameplay elements, offering the possibility to control the Jeep or the staff helicopter by yourself, or undertake many other interactive activities. The game needed to please everyone, staying true to the Jurassic Park license, and the end result not only boasts amazing graphics but also leaves you wanting more, going back to play again and again, even after this first test review was written. It might sound stupid, but when you have to test several different games, you often end up abandoning the one you´re playing to start the other, but I know that this won’t happen with JWE.

 

Avengers 4: Will a new team be formed by the end of the film?

By the end of “Avengers 4,” we could have a new team of superheroes. Here are our predictions!

Expected to hit our screens in April 2019, Avengers 4 will face the daunting task of concluding Phase 3 in addition to launching Phase 4 of MCU.

This has got us thinking about what we can expect to see in the upcoming Avengers films. Yes, there is a strong possibility that more films are yet to come after the success of Infinity War. We’re especially intrigued by who will be included in the next team. It is expected that new members will join the Avengers after the departures of several characters, with some actors’ contracts running out, as is the case with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr., who play Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.

We believe that Black Widow (who could have a solo film just for her, even if as a prequel), Hulk (since Mark Ruffalo still has at least one film to make after Avengers 4) and Thor will still be in the game.

They may be joined by Spider-Man (which would seem even more likely given his recent introduction to MCU), Black Panther (who proved successful in his solo film), and even Captain Marvel. You would think that if the studio is trying so hard to hype up the almighty heroine (who could even be powerful enough to move planets), it would be for a good reason. As for Doctor Strange, this character is perhaps a bit too powerful to join the team of superheroes. It would be very difficult to find enemies strong enough to rival him, if not threats in the whole cosmos. Let’s not forget sidekicks like Bucky, War Machine, Falcon, or even Scarlet Witch, who we still expect to find on the scene. Marvel Studios seems to have long-term plans for Wanda.

In any case, we are looking forward to discovering if the Russo brothers will revive some (or all) of Thanos’ victims in the “Avengers” sequel…
