During his participation in the podcast The Town with Matt Belloni, Cameron mentioned that he met with Universal Pictures to discuss his vision for the project, although his plans did not materialize. “I couldn’t find the song”, Cameron joked, referring to the difficulty he faced in connecting with the musical material, but he did not rule out the possibility of venturing into the musical genre in his future career. “My favorite movie is a musical, The Wizard of Oz”, he added, highlighting his admiration for the classic.

As the film industry has transformed into a space where major releases must be seen as events, Cameron points out that it is essential to attract audiences to theaters to justify the high budgets that studios invest.
