That’s right, Season 2 of Fortnite sadly comes to an end. However, this also brings very good news: the arrival of a new Season full of novelties of all kinds that will surely delight lovers of the desert and gasoline.
Under the name Rampage, Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 5 will officially begin on May 24, 2024 at 8:00 CEST.
However, keep in mind that we won’t be able to access it right away. First, we’ll have to download a large patch weighing 47.2 GB, so make some space on your hard drive. In case it doesn’t show up for download or you have automatic updates disabled, go to the information section (for consoles) or click on the three dots before starting the game on PC.
Along with the new season, we also have a new biome nicknamed the wasteland, where we will encounter a sandstorm. Fallout fans will recognize some of the items we will find in the wasteland, such as Nuka-Cola bottles, which will be used to restore health. We will also have strawberry cacti, which in this case will repair vehicles.
Other new locations are:
- Radical Refinery: “Radical Refinery is a nitro refinery controlled by La Maquinista, the expert mechanic of the Wasteland Pilgrims. What is nitro? It doesn’t matter if you travel in a vehicle or in any other way: the power of nitro will make you unstoppable…”
- Speedway: “No one knows chaos and destruction like Scarr the ringmaster, so it makes sense that she is the one who leads the way in this circus where car shows are held: the Speedway”.
- Brutal Ship: “Brutal Ship is the nerve center and operations base of the Wasteland Pilgrims. Here you can find Megalo Don, the leader of the Wasteland Pilgrims and a display of brute force. But be careful, because his unbridled anger doesn’t take long to surface”.
Vehicles also receive updates. In the game store, we will be able to find the Behemoth pack, which will allow us to customize our SUV with new bodywork. In addition, “certain Rocket League SUV bodywork will be cross-platform compatible in the future”.
Of course, we couldn’t miss the battle pass, which for 950 V-Bucks, will give us access to the following skins:
- The Machinist
- Megalo Don
- Oxi
- The Thing
- Scarr Master of Ceremonies
- T-60 Power Armor
- Renegade Bomber
- Wasteland Magneto (this last one will be unlocked in July)
