Stellar Blade has been one of the major releases of the year. Controversies aside, it is a game that has sparked great interest among a segment of the audience thanks to its spectacular graphics and intense gameplay. Being one of the biggest achievements Sony has scored this year, along with Black Myth: Wukong. That’s why many people are waiting for it to no longer be available only on PlayStation 5. Something that might happen much sooner than we expected.

Stellar Blade could arrive before May of next year

According to comments made during the Q&A session of their financial results for the third quarter of 2024, SHIFT UP is looking to launch Stellar Blade during 2025. This would align with rumors that the exclusivity with Sony was only for one year. If so, the game could be released at any time from April 26, 2025, on PC or any other platform.

Their reason for wanting to release it on PC has also been the success of Black Myth: Wukong. Seeing the success it has had on the platform, they hope that Stellar Blade will perform even better on computers than it has on consoles.

Additionally, they have confirmed that they will provide more information about their next game planned for release in 2027, Project Witches, in the first half of 2025. Meanwhile, Stellar Blade will receive a collaboration with NieR:Automata in the form of a DLC on November 20th.
