Leaked Dead Space Footage shows a possible rumor confirmed

At the end of 2022, rumors started about a collaboration between Fortnite x Dead Space, but it has not been completely confirmed. However, it does appear that it may happen sooner than later.

SPOILER ALERT – The leaked info may contain details you don’t want to know yet

Leaked Dead Space Footage shows possible rumor confirmed

Even though this rumor does not come from an official source or Epic Games, it was leaked via Twitter by the reliable and popular @ShiinaBR. According to him, January 23 brings an Item Shop rotation, and the crossover will have an Isaac Clarke skin and other aspects. The possibility of more content may arrive with the crossover.

@ShiinaBR

CONFIRMED: Isaac Clarke will be available on January 23 at 7 PM ET!

– Plasma Cutter Pickaxe

– Back Bling 1: Has an HP bar that changes based on health

– Back Bling 2: Glows blue when you take no damage and glows red when you take damage

Perfect timing from Epic Games with the scheduled release for The Dead Space remake in a few days, and the franchise excitement is high. There is confusion, and fans are surprised that they have not confirmed the crossover officially with the expected release upon us. But perhaps the Item Shop rotation will hold all the answers.

It is essential to remember that these are rumors based on leaks; therefore, until there is official confirmation from Epic Games or until it arrives in-game, you should treat the information as just that – a rumor!

Fortnite brings back the Plague Doc Skin after 3 years.

After three years, the Plague Doc Skin has returned to Fortnite, and many believe that the Covid pandemic influenced its absence. If you have enjoyed the Fortnite version of Battle Royale, you will see this epic male player skin with the Scourge, which is the female version. The Plague Doc Skin can change the appearance of a player’s avatar but be realistic about the fact that you don’t get any added benefits or functions to the Plague outfit!

Initially, in 2018 it was released for the first time, and the skins gained popularity and, from time to time, went on sale – that was until the end of January 2020 when it made its last appearance. Since its return to Fortnite’s item shop, you can buy Plague and Scourge at 1500 V-Bucks each. Both styles are true to their ancestral beaked physicians from the 16th and 17th eras.

There is no introduction to Fortnite, but I will give you a short and sweet run down for those who might need to become more familiar with the game. You will find Fortnite’s free-to-play Battle Royale on almost any technology platform. It has gained popularity over the last few years as it supports crossplay over many modern media and continues to evolve with even more characters from franchises like Street Fighter, Dragonball Z, and Star Wars.

Game News: Fortnite Plague Doc Skin is back after 3 years

But with many buyable skins in the Fortnite item shop, it becomes challenging to return and rotate them as often as in the past. Another conundrum is when they don’t have enough V-Bucks and have to wait months for the return of their favorite skins. But this forms part of the excitement. If you are a Fortnite fan, you never know what you will find next in the item shop.

However, once the skins on the back burner for a long time get rotated again, it makes headlines in the Fortnite community. As the comeback or the Grim Medicine set has proven with the Plague Doc Skins. Some fans have waited impatiently for the spooky Fortnite skins to be back in the item shop for many months. Finally, Scourge and Plague have made their anticipated return after three years!

I don’t know why Epic Games have decided to add the Grim Medicine set at this point, but it most certainly has caused a joyous uproar in the Fortnite community. Perhaps it is Epic’s way of lifting player spirits after the unbalanced pandemic. Hopefully, with these skins back in the item shop, players can enjoy their avatars even more on the battlefield.

Whatever the return of the Plague Doc Skin is, one thing is for sure players will be able to embrace them and ensure their avatars look the part. I would, however, suggest running out of V-Bucks if you want to stay on top of the best skin.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1: DOOM, Witcher, and other riveting details right here!

It’s here! It’s finally here! Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has launched, which means we’re in for a new adventure. We’re in for just over three months of shooting, vehicular footballs, and more! If you just take a look at the Battle Pass page, you’ll instantly see two exciting new outfits: DOOM and The Witcher.

As an avid Fortnite player, I’m here to tell you what’s happening in Chapter 4 Season 1. You’ll see what’s new in the Battle Pass, the changed features in the gameplay, and the horde of quests now available. Strap in and get your weapons ready!

Updated Battle Pass UI

The first element that caught my eye with Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is the updated Battle Pass screen. Gone are the blocked pages where you needed to redeem a specific number of rewards to unlock a new page. Now, you need to reach specific player levels to unlock them. You’ll still need to earn stars to buy each of the page rewards. You’ll get some V-Bucks along the way to buy more gear and items.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Bethesda’s DOOM enters Fortnite Battle Pass

One of the more exciting skins to enter Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is Bethesda’s DOOM. You’ll reach him on Page 5 of the Battle Pass, and he costs 6 stars to unlock. Throughout the 14 pages of the BP, you’ll receive variations of skin color and plenty of backpacks, gliders, and other goodies made just for him. Also, you’ll get unique color sets when you reach Bonus Rewards. It’s the most singular collaboration that I’m excited about thus far in the season.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

The Witcher collection

While we’ll have to wait about two months into Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 for The Witcher, there are two pages of rewards coming. These include the base outfit, harvesting tools, backbling, glider, poster, and the Igni power symbol as an emote. With Season 3 of The Witcher due on Netflix, it’s the perfect time to explore this character in the game.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Brand new Fortnite island and locations

With a brand new chapter comes new locations. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 sees names we haven’t seen before with new topographies, structures, and named destinations for you to explore. You’ll need to find specific landmarks in each area that has the ??? symbol to unlock them on your map for future matches. The Citadel holds a champion to defeat, while you’ll also find The Witcher’s castle in the snowy region.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

New Fortnite gameplay features

While all of the above details are exciting, even many gameplay elements are new in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Here are some of the top aspects I want to draw your attention to.

Weapons

We have a new assortment of weapons in our hands for this season. One ranged weapon is Excalibur, which releases a mythical sword at opponents. Given enough time, it explodes, causing massive damage. Also, there’s a Shockwave Hammer that you can use to traverse the terrain quite quickly. Build up the power with your aim button, and you’ll slam into the air for up to four times.

Vehicles

There are many vehicles in the new Fortnite season that have new colors and skins, setting them apart from the previous chapter. The new type of vehicle is the Trail Thrasher dirt bike. It’s easier to move on different terrains, and you can pull off moves in the air when ramping up toward the sky. Be sure to capture those moments!

Augments

Here’s a brand new item for Fortnite. The longer you remain alive in the battle arena, the more augments you’ll receive. It’s based on time, and you’ll get to choose one of two random augments every two minutes. There are different categories, so pay attention to which types you receive. Some of them are quite powerful or helpful, such as never running out of fuel. If you’re still around towards the last few minutes, you’ll be super powerful.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Exciting Fortnite quests to start Chapter 4 Season 1

If you’re excited to rank up and earn these Battle Pass rewards for Chapter 4 Season 1 of Fortnite, you’ll want to aim for those quests. There’s an exciting line-up waiting for you, but some of them have a limited time period.

Chrome Punk

The Chrome Punk questline appeared in Chapter 3 Season 4, but it’s still available for three more weeks. With my screenshot below, you can see how the entire set looks when you unlock it. I don’t have the quests available anymore, but I saw on my daughter’s profile that she still has them. Time to gear up and grab these items before it’s too late.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Augment Tutorial

Remember those augments I mentioned? You’ll need to complete the Augment Tutorial quests to get started. You’ll gain experience with each one you finish, but the most important reason is simply to understand how they work. It’s best to choose each one carefully for the best gameplay.

Explorer

The Explorer quests reward you for exploring the new locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Some of them are for simply eliminating opponents, while are require you to find set locations. Basically, they’re free rewards for simply playing the game.

Oathbound

Oathbound focuses on the new faction or main storyline for the season. These special quests lead you to fight the champion in the Citadel, but there are more coming. When I completed these missions, the timer said I have 40 days to wait before the next batch of tasks appear. You shouldn’t have too much difficulty completing these.

Dailies, Weeklies, Milestones

When you’re done with all these unique quests, you still have the standard ones to ramp up your levels and stars. The Weekly tasks involve testing out new vehicles and weapons for now, but we’ll see more specific ones as the season passes. Remember to do your three daily quests for extra XP towards your Battle Pass.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Latest Fortnite Crew Pack rewards

For those of you who opted to pay for the monthly Crew Packs, the December bundle is here. As usual, you’ll get your 1,000 V-Bucks and access to the Battle Pass without paying separately for it. There’s also a new outfit with assorted harvesting tools, bling, and more. What’s new is a Legacy Set with six stages you’ll unlock over the next few months.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Mid-Season drops

Towards the middle of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, we’ll receive some awesome drops. When it becomes available, you’ll need to earn account levels in a short period of time. It doesn’t matter what level you are when it appears. From the moment it’s here, only the levels you earn from that point on matter. So, stick around and keep playing to ensure you don’t miss out.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

New skins and gear in the Item Shop

The Item shop is relatively unchanged in the new chapter of Fortnite. The listings still renew every day, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for anything that interests you. There are some old items returning, but I decided to gift my daughter the new Cuddle Pool Leader with the snowy appearance. We’re trying to collect as many of them as we can. You’ll also find new football, Rick and Morty, and festive outfits and items!

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

Are you ready for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

Well, there you have it, the complete guide to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. If I’ve missed anything, please forgive me. The new items and features were already enough to take in, and I did my best to cover as many as possible.

And now that that’s sorted, I have the Mirror’s Forge horror survival game that just released to play. I’m in for one scary night!

Fall Guys Crown Clash Challenges: How To Unlock Free Fall Guys, Fortnite, And Rocket League Rewards

The addicting, cut-throat game Fall Guys recently went free-to-play and now offers tons of rewards with Crown Clash Challenges. Players can unlock all kinds of unique in-game cosmetics for other Epic Games-sponsored titles. This includes Fortnite and Rocket League.

Fall Guys DOWNLOAD

The event only runs from June 29th, 2022 to July 11th, 2022, so learn how to unlock all Fall Guys, Fortnite, and Rocket League rewards for Crown Clash challenges here before you run out of time.

How To Earn Crown Clash Challenges Rewards In Fall Guys

It’s not often that various game titles can link up to offer rewards across the games. Think of when No Man’s Sky enabled players to pick up the Normandy from Mass Effect for their fleet. Thanks to Epic owning all of these titles, they can sponsor this event for players to pick up many rewards.

Similarly to how Battle Passes work in Fortnite, players must complete specific challenges to obtain the rewards. Thankfully, the challenges in Fall Guys are very simple: just complete more and more rounds to earn more and more rewards.

But first, you’ll need to make sure your account is set up to save your progress.

Ensure Linked Accounts

Download Fall Guys with the same account you have connected with Fortnite and Rocket League. Alternatively, you can just link your Epic Games account with all three games. For console players, you’ll need to link Epic Games to your console.

Trying to use multiple Epic Games accounts is not recommended; it will disallow you from having all of your rewards transfer properly.

Fortnite Crown Clash Rewards

The free-to-play Battle Royale titan has had crossovers with what feels like every franchise. Marvel, DC, Naruto, and John Wick are just the tip of the iceberg. They even include fan-inspired designs and characters based on streamers and musicians.

Fortnite rewards for Crown Clash reimagine a previously introduced character with a new skin and other items. To pick them up, just do the following in any show:

  • Complete 10 Rounds: Stacked! spray
  • Complete 20 Rounds: Stacked with a Love Emoticon
  • Complete 40 Rounds: the Sweet Clementine Pickaxe
  • Complete 70 Rounds: the Waffler back bling
  • Complete 100 Rounds: the Major Mancake skin

Whether you’re a die-hard completionist or you just really love pancakes, picking up these in-game items is probably easier than actually making pancakes.

image of Fall Guys Crown Clash Challenges Rewards for Rocket League

Rocket League Crown Clash Rewards

This Hot Wheels and soccer hybrid has been a casual “turn your brain off” game option for many years now. The number of sick goals and trick shots keeps people coming back, but so does the ever-growing list of cosmetic items.

Rocket League features lots of customization options for players from team colors and names to unique wheels, patterns, and car trails. The Fall Guys Crown Clash Rewards take advantage of that with the following rewards:

  • Complete 10 Rounds: Colorful Canines player banner
  • Complete 20 Rounds: Colorful Canines topper
  • Complete 40 Rounds: Med. Rare wheels
  • Complete 70 Rounds: Cluster Buster decal
  • Complete 100 Rounds: Fallout boost

As showcased by Rocket League Garage, you can see the trail and the topper in action in the image above.

image of Fall Guys Crown Clash Challenges Rewards

Fall Guys Crown Clash Rewards

Grabbing the coveted crown in Fall Guys gets you rewards for the base game, too. They just aren’t as varied as in the other games:

  • Complete 10 Rounds: 300 Kudos
  • Complete 20 Rounds: 500 Kudos
  • Complete 40 Rounds: 800 Kudos
  • Complete 70 Rounds: 1,000 Kudos
  • Complete 100 Rounds: 1,200 Kudos

That means that players who complete all 100 rounds get a grand total of 3,800 Kudos to spend on anything they desire in Fall Guys.

image of Fall Guys characters cheering over in-game currency

Pros & Cons of Crown Clash Challenges

Unlike with other crossover events, there are no loot boxes with rewards based on chance. It’s also not extremely difficult to get any one reward vs. another. The biggest commitment to these challenges is time.

If you can invest the time to complete 100 rounds of Fall Guys, you can get the rewards! You don’t need to be the best of the best, sir (with honors), or be needlessly ruthless to other players (unless you want to be). All you have to do is play.

Fortnite World Cup highlight reel

Meet the 16-year-old who is the Fortnite World Champion and $3 million richer!

Fortnite

It’s finally over.

The much-hyped Fortnite World Cup has come to a close, treating Fortnite players around the globe to an epic live finale filled with tense gameplay and major surprises. With a $30 million prize pool at stake, viewers from around the world tuned in to see who would take home the coveted title and be crowned the best Fortnite player in the world. Here’s a recap of the tournament, and a look at the surprising winner.

Fortnite World Cup highlight reel

You can watch the full final match below:

More than 2 million viewers around the globe tuned in to watch the culmination of the Fortnite World Cup. In the spotlight was the coveted Solos title, and a $3 million dollar prize for the champion. Fortnite players will be familiar with the format: players accumulate points based on wins, eliminations, and more. The winner is the player with the most cumulative points; so even if players lost a few matches, they still had a shot at the title.

Among the players in attendance were major names in the Fortnite world, such as pro-gamer and streamer Vivid, as well as relative unknowns who had qualified simply by playing from home. Chief among these unknowns was 16-year-old Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf of Pennsylvania. He soon caught many eyes as he opened the competition with a strong start.

Bugha won his first game and placed high in his next five, netting him a strong point lead right from the start. In addition, Bugha accumulated more than a few eliminations in those matches, which gave him a commanding point lead and kept him in the top spot throughout the day’s competition.

By the time the day’s last game rolled around, Bugha had such a major lead on his competition that it was all but impossible for him to lose. The final total put Bugha at a 26-point-lead over his second-place competition. The teenager took home the grand prize as well as the title of best Fortnite player in the world. Man, what would you have done with $3 million at the age of 16?

Though Bugha took home the top prize, the second and third-place finishers also took home some hefty sums: second-place finisher Psalm walked away with $1.8 million, and 3rd place finisher Epikwhale won $1.2 million. If you missed the tournament live, check out the video below to see Bugha in action:

It’s apparent that Bugha’s about to make the jump from a relatively unknown player to a major star. He’s already booked interviews with the likes of Jimmy Kimmel and has become a household name among Fortnite players. It’s easy to see why: Bugha stays calm under pressure and plays like a true professional. Oh, and about that screen name? “Bugha” was apparently the name that Giersdorf’s grandfather used to call him as a baby to make him laugh.

Wrapping up

Though the Fortnite World Cup might be over, the world of Fortnite is still teeming with activity. The much-anticipated Season 10 has finally dropped and is bringing some big changes to the game landscape including time travel. Fortnite Season 10 Week 1: Rumble Royale Challenge Guide

Shoot, build, and loot your way through this Rumble Royale Challenge!

Fortnite

Fortnite’s second set of Week 1 “missions” puts the spotlight squarely on Team Rumble. All of the challenges listed below will need to be completed within the team-based gametype; doing so will net you a hefty amount of Battle Stars as well as some unique cosmetic items. Check out our guide below for tips on how to finish off the Rumble Royale challenge set quickly and easily.

Fortnite Season 10 Week 1: Rumble Royale Challenge Guide

Play matches of Team Rumble with at least one elimination (5)

fortnite season 10 eliminations rumble royale

This one is rather self-explanatory; simply hop into Team Rumble and start attacking opponents. You’ll need to eliminate at least one opponent over the course of five different matches to snag the rewards for this challenge.

Win a match of Team Rumble (3)

To the victors go the spoils, especially for this challenge. You’ll need to be part of the winning team for three Team Rumble matches to finish this challenge.

Assist teammates with eliminations in Team Rumble (20)

This challenge is a bit more finicky than the others; you’ll need to provide an assist on 20 Team Rumble eliminations. There’s no sure-fire way to do this except to hop into a match and start shooting. You’ll likely luck into finishing this challenge the more opponents you eliminate.

Build structures with the X-Lord outfit in Team Rumble (200)

fortnite season 10 dusty depot

You’ll need to don one of the new Battle Pass outfits for Season 10 to start this challenge. Throw on the X-Lord outfit, then start building. Simply mine as much material as you can and start throwing up structures. You don’t need to be particular about it; any structure will do. Once you hit the threshold you’ll finish the challenge.

Damage opponents in a single match of Team Rumble (500)

Once again, you’ll be getting aggressive for this one. You’ll need to deal 500 damage to your enemies in a single match. This should be very doable; grab whatever weapons you’re most comfortable with and start attacking any enemies in sight.

Eliminate opponents less than 5m away in Team Rumble (5)

For this one, you’ll be getting up close and personal. As such, try to grab yourself a shotgun. It can be hard to judge distance in-game, so get as close as you can before opening fire. Once you’ve killed five enemies, this one will be done.

Search Supply Drops in Team Rumble (5)

Supply Drops are far more plentiful in Team Rumble than in other game modes. They practically rain down on the battlefield. It might take a couple matches, but finding and searching five of them shouldn’t be too hard. They’re also marked on the minimap, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble tracking them down.

Fortnite Season 10 Week 1: “Road Trip” challenge guide

Grab your driftboard, and make your way through the Road Trip challenge!

Fortnite Road Trip

Fortnite is switching things up for Season 10 with a brand new challenge format. Instead of the usual weekly challenges, groups of nested challenges called Missions will be released each week. Completing each challenge set will unlock unique rewards, such as Battle Stars and cosmetic items. The first challenge set, dubbed “Road Trip,” will take players back to the days of Season 5. Here’s all the Road Trip challenges and how to solve them.

Fortnite Season 10 Week 1: “Road Trip” challenge guide

Visit a Drift-painted Durrr Burger Head, a dinosaur, and a Stone Head Statue

  • Stage 1: Durrr Burger Head

durrr burger head

Most players by now will probably know where to look for this distinctive burger head. It sits alone atop a small hill on the outskirts of Loot Lake. You’ll be able to spot it from quite a distance.

  • Stage 2: Dinosaur

To find the dinos, head south of Paradise Palms. Follow the road, and soon you’ll come to a large curve where you’ll see a park of touristy looking dino statues. Check out the triceratops.

  • Stage 3: Stone Head Statue

Finally, you’ll run across one of the iconic stone heads from Season 5 if you head slightly northeast of the frozen lake in the map’s snow biome.

If you’re having trouble tracking down these locations, they’re all marked on the map below.

fortnite season 10 map burger

Deal damage to opponents while riding in a vehicle (200)

Though it may be tempting to use one of this season’s new B.R.U.T.E. mechs to finish this stage of the challenge, that might be easier said than done. Instead, we recommend hopping on a driftboard and shooting opponents with a shotgun as you glide by. It should be pretty easy to hit the required 200 damage with this method.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Play Now ►
10

Destroy stop signs with the Catalyst outfit (10)

You’ll need to use the new Catalyst battle pass outfit for this one. Once you’re suited up, simply wreck 10 stop signs to finish the challenges. You’ll want to look around roadways. Stop signs are especially plentiful in the desert biome.

Ride a zipline in different matches (3)

If you’re having trouble tracking down ziplines, take a look around Lonely Lodge and in the snow biome. They tend to be most plentiful there, and you’ll be able to mark off this stage of the challenge without any issues.

Search a chest in different named locations (3)

Though the challenge format might be different, the challenges themselves are still pretty familiar. Pop open three chests in any different named locations of your choice to finish this one.

Visit Lazy Lagoon and Lucky Landing in a single match

fortnite season 10 lazy lagoon

You’ll need to make quite a journey for this challenge, so we recommend grabbing a vehicle beforehand. You’ll basically need to traverse the map from north to south to finish this one; you can start at either location. We also recommend trying a match of Team Rumble for this one. The matches are longer and you’ll be able to respawn if you die, which should make it a little easier to finish this trek.

Get trick points with a vehicle (250,000)

This challenge may seem like a tall order at first, but it’s actually easier than it sounds. You’ll definitely want to grab a Driftboard for this one; it’ll be super easy to use it to catch air and land tricks, and soon enough you’ll have hit the 250,000 point threshold.

Fortnite Season 10 is here

Back to the past

fortnite season 10 dusty depot meteor

Fortnite Season 9 ended in appropriately spectacular fashion, with the long-teased Cattus monster facing off with the giant mech suit in the fields surrounding Loot Lake. It was a truly awe-inspiring fight, and just when it looked like Cattus would triumph, the mech grabbed some kind of energy ball from the mysterious Loot Lake vault and used it to defeat the monster. If you missed the event in-game, check it out here, because it’s something you really don’t want to miss:

Though the mech triumphed in the end, there was still more to come. Soon, another energy sphere appeared above the damage vault, counting down to the start of Season 10. When the sphere activated, a massive energy pulse enveloped the map… which apparently really messed up the timeline.

fortnite season 10 time warp

Fortnite has been messing with time since at least Season 5, but Season 10 is really going to be sending us for a loop. Already, we’ve seen the crater at Dusty Divot disappear, replaced by the original Dusty Depot. That’s not all: the meteor from the Season 3 finale that destroyed the warehouses appears to be frozen in time right above the warehouses.

fortnite season 10 meteor

This appears to be the first of many new Rift Zones, areas of the map that have been unstuck in time following the events of the season finale. Look around for more of these areas as the season progresses, and expect to see some familiar locations from past seasons making a comeback.

New challenges

fortnite season 10 challenges

Aside from the sweeping changes happening in the Fortnite map, big changes are being made to the game itself as well. Weekly Challenges are gone, and have been replaced with a new format of nested challenges. These themed challenges can be finished at any time and at any pace, and are released in weekly batches of several at a time. Daily Challenges are gone as well, replaced with new limited time only nested challenges. You’ll only have a few days to finish these LTM challenges before they disappear.

Each themed challenge set contains several sub-challenges. Completing these challenges will unlock more challenges within the theme, which nets players different rewards along the way. Though finishing challenges will be rewarded with the usual smattering of Battle Stars, cosmetic rewards have also been added that include skins, back bling, mining tools, and more. It’s a new format that may take some getting used to, but also one that promises some pretty sweet loot.

New gear

fortnite season 10 mech suit

As usual, plenty of new gear has been added with the advent of the new season. First and foremost are the intimidating B.R.U.T.E. mech suits. These combat mechs require multiple players to pilot: one to drive and one to shoot. Facing one down can be a challenge, but functionally they act just like any other in-game vehicle.

In addition to the new mechs, some weapons from past seasons are returning, such as the Bolt-Action Sniper. New weapons such as Epic and Legendary rarities for the Tactical Shotgun are also appearing in game, as well as the unique semi-auto Storm Sniper that will allow players to monitor the enclosing storm while scoped in.

Season 10 promises to be a wild ride, and these are doubtless the first of many changes in store for Fortnite. Check back with Softonic for all the latest Fortnite news, weekly challenge guides, and more.

Fortnite Gronky

Gronky, easily one of the best console Fortnite players at this time, also makes the best training videos! Although he mainly plays Xbox, you don’t have to be a console player to get some great tips from these excellent clips.

To show just how helpful these videos can be, we’ll go through a few case studies in Gronky’s videos and describe a few ways their advice personally helped us improve at Fortnite. of course, Everyone who watches will likely have their own takeaways, so implement whatever stands out to you.

We highly recommend subscribing to the channel. As you’ll see later, Gronky often posts videos about the most pressing updates to Fortnite’s weapons and game mechanics with in-depth analysis of the effects, coupled with excellent gameplay footage to demonstrate what he’s describing.

When you’re finished with the latest, check out his large library of past videos! From the moment Gronky began making YouTube content to the present, he’s developed excellent training videos that show entertaining clips of Fortnite battles.

Finally, we’d like to note: many of the titles and thumbnail art may seem clickbaity. Don’t be tricked: Gronky’s videos are usually 10-minute sessions filled to the brim with good advice and solid information.

Let’s talk about a few examples!

Settings

Every Fortnite player wants to know the very best settings, whether they’re playing computer or console.

Gronky began a series of videos that details his entire controller setup, from view sensitivity to build mechanics. Since the release of his first discussion, they’ve become some of the most popular Fortnite instructional videos on the web, especially for Xbox and PS4 users.

One of the nice things we noticed: Gronky argues firmly for settings he believes shouldn’t be changed, and provides a few points that may be subjective. This creates a more realistic view of how things really work in-game.

For example, he strongly advises turning up the edit sensitivity because it’s clearly proven that building requires far less accuracy than aiming. For other settings, like the deuteranope colorblind mode, Gronky notes that it can help but mostly comes down to personal choice. The deuteranope mode has been known to provide better visibility in the storm.

You probably won’t need more than one settings video (the latest, we’d guess), but we certainly enjoy watching them when they come out. New settings and changes happen often!

Improvement

Gronky’s improvement videos bring pro tips to common players! Like all other Fortnite pros, he suffered through dry spells where improvement was difficult and progress came slow. Now, like an ice climber pulling their friend over the next ledge, these videos are essentially the tips Gronky would’ve liked to have while improving.

If you’re playing Fortnite often but can’t seem to improve, it’s possible you need help!

A few things that stood out to us here:

1. Always aim for the head. We forget this often; it’s far better to miss a few shots aiming for the head, than consistently hit the safer but low-damage body shots. You will get better at headshots and find yourself eliminating enemies much faster, the same can’t be said with aiming for the torso.

2. When you develop tunnel vision (running into fights without thinking, usually caused by getting tilted) take a second to play differently! Land somewhere nice, maybe track down challenges and fortbytes awhile. Soon enough, you’ll be ready to play level-headed again.

3. DON’T JUMP (in shotgun battles). If you don’t have a controller with back paddles and jumping is attached to “A” (on Xbox), you have to completely remove your finger from the aim stick to perform a jump. This means your aim will be completely lost during a shotgun fight!

These are very few details Gronky covers in one video alone, but they stood out to us personally. Get out of your funk and improve quicker by watching these discussions and focusing on whatever stands out to you!

Tips

We wish we knew about this a long time ago.

It’s astounding: Fortnite requires so much finesse and skill and attention to detail that many tricks and “secrets” aren’t known by a large number of players! Some of our favorite pros like Ninja and Nick Mercs have mentioned these, but nobody has yet compiled the info like Gronky!

In the video above, he details the specifics of aim assist, an aspect of Fortnite play that every console player should use! Controller players that aren’t actively practicing aim assist will be at an enormous disadvantage when playing against those on computers.

Before watching this video, we found it nearly impossible to hit other players at long range. When Ninja shot people out of the sky, we couldn’t believe it was possible.  After watching, we began seeing controller players like Nick Mercs use aim assist all the time. They’re employing one of the few advantages for console players, ensuring they’re somewhat competitive against the PC Master Race.

Don’t miss out on tips like these!

Updates

Fortnite receives updates all the time.

Unfortunately, though Gronky recommends not taking a break from the game longer than two days, we often take time away for mental health (it can be triggering, let’s be honest). When that happens, you may re-enter the playing field and find yourself in a wildly different world, with guns nerfed, new equipment pickups added, and items unvaulted!

With astounding turnaround time, Gronky releases videos discussing the updates, along with helpful analysis of how they’re going to affect gameplay, along with tactics for using/avoiding/exploiting the change.

As you can see in the video above, the revolver has been added back to Fortnite’s season 9. Since Fortnite’s shotguns are often slow, many of the best players combine them with other quick-switch, close-range weapons like the SMG and Deagle. It’s possible the revolver may be a great sidearm, though Gronky suggests a few considerations before you give it a try.

Thanks to videos like these, you’ll have as much info as the best players!

Conclusion

No Fortnite professional creates training, tip, and update videos like Gronky. Although his advice is often aimed at console players trying to keep up with the computer players, there are great bits of information for everyone who enjoys a game of Fortnite.

Give it a try!
