Iron Woman!

Paltrow, who has portrayed Pepper Potts in seven Marvel movies, has not participated in any of these productions since Avengers: Endgame six years ago. The possibility of her returning to the big screen has excited fans, as she could share scenes with major MCU stars, including Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, and some of the iconic actors from the first generation of X-Men like Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026. This opens up a wide range of possibilities for Paltrow to reprise her role, especially considering that recent productions have been incorporating a star-studded cast. While nothing is confirmed yet, Paltrow’s enthusiasm and her apparent return could be a Marvel strategy to attract both old fans and a new audience.

It is important to mention that if Paltrow joins Doomsday or Secret Wars, she could do so alongside other iconic MCU characters, which would enrich the narrative of the universe. With the launch of Phase 6 of Marvel on the horizon, preparations for these movies are underway and many are eagerly anticipating what is to come.

The Marvel actress who completely forgot that she was in 'Marvel Zombies'

The production of series within the Marvel universe has proven to be a long and complex process, especially when it comes to reaching consensus on scripts and coordinating the actors’ schedules. A Zombie Series

Marvel Zombies was initially conceived as a movie, but after a process of rewrites and adjustments, it will finally become a four-episode series that will be released directly on Disney+. Despite the complications in its development, its director has hinted that a second season is on the horizon, planning a more ambitious approach and the inclusion of more characters in the narrative. This transition demonstrates not only Marvel’s ambition to explore new narrative territories but also the challenges they face in producing engaging and fresh content.

Meanwhile, the uncertainty about Olsen’s future in projects like Avengers: Doomsday persists. Although the actress claims to have no confirmed participation in that production, Marvel’s characteristic secrecy suggests that the information could change. Marvel’s strategy of prioritizing quantity over quality has been criticized in the past and, according to rumors, could impact its future releases, generating even greater anticipation among fans.

The new Spider-man movie adds a new villain that comes straight from animation

Since the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man has been caught between two worlds. Although the character has had his own movies in the MCU, the rights are owned by Sony, which has taken the wall-crawler’s adventures to new heights, especially with the acclaimed animated Spider-Verse trilogy: Into the Spider-Verse, Across the Spider-Verse, and the highly anticipated Beyond the Spider-Verse. Despite these universes rarely crossing over, a recent casting news has revealed that a key shared character is on the way, albeit with a very different look. We are left like […]

We have been left like a tombstone

Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to portray Tombstone in the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Jones previously voiced this character in Into the Spider-Verse, where he is Kingpin’s right-hand man and head of security for Fisk Industries. Since Marvel’s Spider-Man movies are set in a different universe, it is likely that the version of Tombstone in Brand New Day will take on a completely different role. In the comics, Tombstone is a crime boss comparable to Kingpin, suggesting that he could complicate Peter Parker’s life while Kingpin deals with other issues, possibly related to Matt Murdock.

This will be the first time Jones brings Lápida to live action characters, a challenge he knows well, as he previously portrayed another villain, Tobias Whale, in the CW series Black Lightning. Additionally, it has been reported that Jones was originally supposed to play Lápida in El Muerto, a spinoff movie from the Sonyverse starring Bad Bunny, which was quietly pulled in 2023.

Although the details of the plot of Brand New Day are still unknown, the elements of the cast are coming together. Mark Ruffalo will return as Hulk, Zendaya as MJ, and Sadie Sink in a yet unknown role. With the inclusion of Tombstone, it seems that Spider-Man will face a street-level threat, even if the main villain is someone else. In this new attempt by Spidey to start over, complications seem inevitable.
