World of Tanks: HEAT is the perfect game for those who find Overwatch and Marvel Rivals lacking

Wargaming is a studio that has focused on the realistic simulation of military vehicle battles. Tanks, planes, submarines. Nothing escapes them and everything goes well for them. That’s why it shouldn’t surprise us that their new title, World of Tanks: HEAT, has been launched with great interest from the public. And it has shown that it is possible to make a different tank game: one that resembles, at least a little, great online multiplayer games like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals. Wargaming is a studio that has focused on the realistic simulation of military vehicle battles. Tanks, planes, submarines. Nothing escapes them and everything goes well for them. That’s why we shouldn’t be surprised that their new title, World of Tanks: HEAT, has been launched with great interest from the public. And it has shown that it is possible to create a different tank game: one that resembles, at least a little, great online multiplayer games like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals.

A different game

The most surprising thing about World of Tanks: HEAT is that it is a hero shooter in the form of a battleship game. This means that each of our agents has special abilities and differentiated roles, allowing us to customize our match. Making the game more visually appealing and accessible.

This, in addition, is compounded by the fact that the game has gained in spectacularity compared to its older brother, World of Tanks. The tanks are faster and lighter, more powerful, and the actions are more spectacular. Everything is more eye-catching and looks more impossible in a simulator like the game that turned Wargaming into a superpower in the video game industry. Although it never becomes simple or mindless: it still requires strategy, tactics, and skill.

This means that the game is slightly more complex than any hero shooter on the market. This is neither Overwatch nor Marvel Rivals, although it resembles them in spectacle, pace, and skill management. It requires much more teamwork and much more awareness, making it a deeper and more complex game, making it perfect for those who want a similar experience, but deeper.

World of Tanks: HEAT is the perfect game for those who want to take a step further in hero shooters. Not being as slow, methodical, and punishing as World of Tanks, nor as light and chaotic as traditional hero shooters, the virtue of World of Tanks: HEAT is having introduced the lightness and dynamism of hero shooters into the World of Tanks universe. So if you like tanks and are already tired of Overwatch, World of Tanks: HEAT could very well be your game.

CEO for a Day

Definitely Not Fried Chicken is a business management simulator where players must manage a variety of businesses, including restaurants, laundries, and nightclubs. The goal is to build a successful business empire, but there is a dark background: behind the facade of these establishments lies a money laundering operation through the distribution of alternative medicines.

Players will need to acquire land, design buildings, and meet the needs of their clientele to maximize income, which offers a unique approach compared to typical business management. In order to achieve success, it will be crucial to pay attention to the tastes and preferences of customers, ensuring that each establishment is attractive enough to draw in more people and, consequently, increase profits.

This title is now in its final version and ready to be explored. After February 5th, the game from Silver Lining Interactive will return to being paid, making way for the next free title in the Epic Games Store, Botany Manor. This offer provides the perfect opportunity for those who want to have fun while challenging their management skills in a dark and captivating environment.

This repair simulator doesn't want you to build the best house possible: it wants you to make the cheapest fixes possible

In a world where players often create perfect homes in titles like House Flipper, a refreshing and comedic proposal emerges: Low-Budget Repairs. This new video game puts players in the shoes of a handyman who must carry out renovations in Polish apartments from the 90s, prioritizing the fulfillment of contracts economically, resulting in absurd and funny situations.

Cement? Very expensive: put the old sofa and a bit of plasterboard

Similar in mechanics to House Flipper and Surgeon Simulator, Low-Budget Repairs invites players to tackle renovation tasks in ineffective and humorous ways. From using duct tape to fix pipes to getting rid of an old sofa by throwing it out the window, the decisions made aim to maximize profits over the quality of work. The premise is simple: fulfill the contract without worrying about the spirit of it, which offers unforgettable humor and a subtle critique of the interior decoration of the time, marked by the excessive use of wallpaper.

Players will also have the opportunity to visit tool stores in search of materials, being encouraged to opt for the more economical solutions, such as diluting paint to use it in greater quantity. The missions revolve around the idea that what matters is covering the basics, setting aside the perfection of the work. This approach is evident in the game’s trailer, which shows how players can, for example, lay tiles without worrying about them being aligned correctly.

Currently, a trial version of the game is available on Steam, allowing enthusiasts of physical comedy and disastrous renovations to experience this title still in development. Undoubtedly, Low-Budget Repairs promises to offer hours of fun for those who enjoy an unconventional approach to design and remodeling of spaces.

Nested Lands is the new settlement simulator that promises to immerse players in a dark and brutal medieval world, ravaged by a plague that has left its mark in every corner of the landscape. Developed by the Brazilian studio 1M Bits Horde, the game is currently in an open alpha phase and is already available on Steam, allowing players to explore its mechanics and features before the final version.

Managing a medieval village is no easy task

In Nested Lands, players will have to build and defend their village from bandits and other dangers lurking in the hostile environment. The premise is based on assigning roles to the villagers, who will have to build buildings, create tools, and gather resources while seeking new settlers to join their cause. The third-person presentation offers a unique perspective, allowing players to interact more directly with the world they have built.

One of the most notable features of the game is its cooperative mode, which allows up to four players to join forces to face the challenges of the settlement. “Prepare for the bandit raids,” warns the development team in a press release. “Reinforce the village and, most importantly, survive the plague,” they add, emphasizing the atmosphere of tension and danger that permeates the game.

The open alpha offers between 3 to 4 hours of gameplay, designed to evaluate how players expand and manage their settlement. It is important to note that this is just the first iteration of the game, with more content planned for the future. With thematic similarities to Gord, released in 2023, Nested Lands differentiates itself in its gameplay approach and perspective, offering a renewed experience in the settlement simulation genre. And if you want something more relaxed, we can also offer you the chance to brew your own beer.
