The slasher, a film genre established during the second half of the 20th century, is characterized by following a group of teenagers/young people who are being killed one by one by a villain. This is what we are used to, and undoubtedly what we want to see in the cinema when they sell us that it is a film of the genre.
In a violent nature, a film that is released this week, offers us exactly that, but from a unique point of view: this time we are not with the kids, but with the killer. It is a quite interesting twist that has turned out to be a great success. The film has achieved an impressive 95% of positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

A Terrifying Success
Produced by the Canadian studio Shudder Films, the film features a cast experienced in horror cinema: Lauren-Marie Taylor (Friday the 13th Part 2, Creating the Terror), Andrea Pavlovic (Learn To Swim, Well Suited for Christmas), Ry Barrett (Open Your Eyes, To Hell with Harvey), Timothy Paul McCarthy (Psycho Goreman, The Haunted Museum), and Liam Leone as a newcomer. Internationally, it will be released on July 19th of this same year.
