This integration allows for smooth interaction between TikTok and music apps, enhancing the connection between users and their favorite artists and songs.
Ole Obermann, head of music business development at TikTok, explained that this tool is “the latest example of our ongoing commitment to support music discovery and artist promotion in collaboration with music streaming services.” According to Obermann, the feature “closes the loop” following the success of the previous “Add to music app” feature and will facilitate artist promotion on the platform.

With this new integration, Spotify will allow you to share music, podcasts, and audiobooks on TikTok through the Share button on the playback screen, while Apple Music offers similar options from its Share window.
Lindsey Kelt Zikry, head of global product partnerships at TikTok, highlighted that this integration “unlocks a new unlimited method of creative expression,” allowing artists, authors, and podcasters to better connect with their audiences.
