The Master Chief, the Spartan hero of Halo, will continue his adventures in live-action with two new episodes premiering worldwide on February 8th of next year. Paramount Plus announced the date, along with a teaser trailer, during Brazil’s CCXP.

The teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much about the story, as usual. However, Paramount Plus states in its release that the new season will showcase Master Chief, played by Schreiber, attempting to prove that the Covenant is preparing to attack Reach, the human military stronghold that fell before the beginning of the story in the first Halo game.

Everything we know about the second season of Halo on SkyShowtime

If you’ve played the Halo games, you already know where this is going, and Paramount Plus hints at it in the announcement. The Master Chief will embark on “a journey to find the key to humanity’s salvation, or its extinction: Halo.”

If you’ve played the games, you already know… other things about what happens from here to their arrival at the Halo ring. I won’t spoil anything for newcomers. But brace yourselves, twists are coming.

The first season was, at least visually, a faithful adaptation of the future video games. For many, the series isn’t anything special, but it’s true that it has some very interesting aspects. The backstory of the story and the setting are reasons enough for any video game fan to give it a chance.

In addition to Schreiber, the second season of Halo will feature the return of Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey and Jen Taylor as Cortana. We’ll also see Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, and Danny Sapani.

Mutant Mayhem will have its own video game, and this is good news for you

Ninja Turtles fans are going to eat well in the coming years, because a new game inspired by their latest movie has just been announced.

Among this summer’s releases, none has been better received than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. With excellent animation, a very fresh approach, and designs that feel original and modern while still capturing the essence of the Ninja Turtles, its success is not surprising. Both the box office and the audience have shown great interest in it, with many praises. Therefore, it shouldn’t surprise us that this success translates into other associated projects.

In collaboration with Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, the publisher Outright Games has announced that they are working on a video game based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Although we don’t have much information about the game yet, we do know that gameplay will focus on teamwork among the turtles and that it will be set a few months after the events of the movie. Furthermore, it will stay true to the movie’s sense of humor and aesthetics and will include characters from the franchise that did not appear in the film.

While they may not be widely known, Outright Games is a publisher and studio specializing in creating video games aimed at the children’s audience. Having worked with licenses such as Adventure Time, Paw Patrol, or Justice League, they produce solid games that tend to perform well in stores.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem game will be released in 2024 with versions for PC and consoles, although we don’t yet know which platforms specifically. And if, for some reason, you want more Ninja Turtles or a darker and more adult version of them, remember that there is a game from THQ Nordic recently announced that will adapt the graphic novel The Last Ronin. So, fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, whether young or old, have something to look forward to in the future.
