Lucid Motors (LCID) has achieved a significant milestone, recording six consecutive quarters of increased vehicle deliveries.
In the first quarter of 2025, the company delivered 3,109 vehicles, marking a remarkable 58% increase compared to the previous year and surpassing its prior record of 3,099 vehicles set in Q4 2024.
This impressive growth comes at a time when Lucid prepares for the upcoming release of its first all-electric SUV, the Gravity, which is set to begin deliveries to customers by the end of April 2025.

During this period, Lucid produced 2,213 vehicles at its Casa Grande, Arizona facility, reflecting a 28% year-over-year increase. In addition, approximately 600 vehicles are currently en route to Saudi Arabia for assembly at the newly established AMP-2 plant, marking Lucid’s first international manufacturing effort.
If this upward trend continues, Lucid is projected to exceed last year’s total deliveries of approximately 10,200 vehicles, aiming for around 12,500 units in 2025.
The Gravity SUV, which boasts a range of up to 450 miles and offers over 120 cubic feet of interior space, is being marketed as a “no compromise” vehicle. Pricing starts at $94,900 for the Gravity Grand Touring model, with a more affordable Touring model expected later in the year for $79,900.
Interim CEO Marc Winteroff recently noted a surge in orders, revealing that 50% of current orders are from former Tesla owners seeking alternatives to the brand. This increase in demand has led to a “dramatic uptick” in orders over the past two months.
As Lucid solidifies its position in the burgeoning electric vehicle market, it will be interesting to see if this momentum can sustain itself amid stiff competition. Tesla recently reported delivering 336,681 vehicles in Q1 2025, falling short of analysts’ expectations, which may further impact consumer behavior in the EV space.
