This new anime series, set in early 20th century London, follows the story of Lili Ichijoin, a young Japanese woman with artistic dreams who enters a prestigious art school, challenging the expectations placed on her by her parents.

Impossible Romances

The plot, adapted from an original story by Yoko Kamio, an author also known for ‘Boys Over Flowers’, presents a complicated romance between Lili and Kit Church, a talented young man who becomes her biggest competition. As both develop a competitiveness, an emotional connection arises that promises to captivate viewers. The project is directed by Kazuto Nakazawa, known for his work on the anime sequences of ‘Kill Bill: Volume 1’, suggesting careful attention to detail and a unique artistic vision for this series.

‘Love Through a Prism’ will feature 20 episodes, and while outstanding animation quality is expected, there are concerns about the promotion of the title, given that its predecessor, ‘Moonrise’, went unnoticed after its release due to Netflix’s marketing strategy. Despite the potential of this production, the challenge will be to ensure it receives the necessary visibility to reach its target audience and not be relegated in the vast catalog of the platform.

With the first trailer of ‘Love Through a Prism’ now available, anime fans are looking forward to enjoying a rich narrative and charming visual style, as well as Wit Studio’s proposal securing a prominent place in the anime scene in 2026.

The third season of ‘Spy x Family’ has begun to unveil crucial details about the past of the enigmatic character Twilight. This new arc, which is anticipated to be emotionally devastating for fans of Tatsuya Endo’s manga, promises to offer moments that could move many. However, the excitement has been overshadowed by an unexpected announcement: chapter 124 of the manga, scheduled to be published on October 12, has been delayed and a special illustration will be released instead on November 9.

Twilight: Where does it come from and where is it going?

The decision to postpone the chapter has not been accompanied by an official explanation from the author or the publisher Shueisha, which has generated uncertainty among readers. So far, neither Tatsuya Endo nor Shueisha have provided details about the reasons behind this pause. Such interruptions are not unprecedented in the manga landscape, as in recent weeks, other authors like Eiichiro Oda and the team behind ‘Frieren’ have had to halt their works due to health issues.

While the pause in publication has surprised followers, it is expected that the delay will be brief and that Endo will resume his work pace. Chapter 123 Part 2 was released on September 28, and although some fans may speculate about the nature of the break, ideally it would be a short hiatus in his busy schedule. In the current context of the manga, readers hope that the creators can take care of their health and continue to provide quality content.

The return of ‘Spy x Family’ is generating great excitement in the community, and the new season is expected to keep viewers on the edge of their seats as they navigate the intrigues and emotions that characterize the series.

This new installment comes after a two-year hiatus, a time that has allowed the manga to progress, with 63 chapters adapted from the 122 published to date.

Spies Who Fight Desire Each Other

The success of Spy x Family is due, in part, to the collaboration between Wit Studio and CloverWorks, which have masterfully captured the work of Tatsuya Endo. This creative team has not only produced the anime but has also expanded the franchise with the release of Spy x Family: Code White, an original movie that delves into the universe of espionage and the humor that characterizes the series.

Regarding the changes in the creative team, Yukiko Imai will take over the direction and Rino Yamazaki will handle the writing, both with previous experience in past seasons. This continuity could mean that the new stories will not deviate drastically from the tone that fans have come to love.

The first trailer has already been released, suggesting that the plot will explore the protagonist, Twilight’s past, adding a new layer of depth to the narrative. As the release date approaches, it is likely that more previews will be shared to keep fans excited.

Although the short duration of the season may be disappointing for some, in narrative terms, it is good news, as it will allow the manga to continue developing without the anime quickly catching up. This encourages hope that future seasons may follow a more consistent pace and perhaps even return to annual premieres.

The third season of ‘Spy x Family’ has been confirmed for the fall of 2025, although an exact release date is not yet available. After more than two years of waiting, fans of the Forger family will be able to enjoy new episodes, while the anime continues its adaptation journey.

Missing the Forger

In 2023, ‘Spy x Family Code: White’ was released, a movie that kept fans busy during the break in the main anime storyline. However, the wait for the third season has generated enormous hype, especially after the announcement at last December’s Jump Festa, where it was confirmed that this season will delve into the WISE Arc, focusing on Twilight’s past.

The recent trailer reveals that Twilight’s childhood and motivations for becoming a spy will be explored, an aspect that has been in the shadows throughout the series. Although only limited details have been shared so far, this arc promises to provide a deeper insight into the conflict he experienced in his childhood, hinting at what drives him in his life as a spy.

For now, it is known that the third season will be released weekly through Crunchyroll, although the anime continues to get closer to the original material of the manga created by Tetsuya Endo. This may indicate that the fourth season could take longer to be produced, given that the content of the series continues to surpass that of the comic. It is speculated that the upcoming chapters could have a significant impact on the overall narrative and on the evolution of the characters.

‘Spy x Family’ fans are eagerly awaiting more updates and details about the third season, which they are looking forward to with great anticipation, and we will be keeping a close eye on the new information

This initiative has allowed for the inclusion of very popular series, including Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Spy x Family, which have captured the attention of anime fans in recent years.

The perfect opportunity to watch the animes everyone is talking about

Frieren: Beyond Journey, considered one of the best contemporary fantasy works, is now available on Prime Video in its original version and in Spanish. This series, which has been a great success in its debut, joins other gems previously available on the platform, such as Dororo and Banana Fish, thus consolidating Prime’s offering in the genre.

On the other hand, Spy x Family has also arrived on Prime Video in its entirety, with both complete seasons and dubbing in several languages. Fans now have the opportunity to catch up before the release of the third season, which is scheduled for next fall.

In addition, the first two seasons of Boku no Hero Academia are available, although the third is still missing from the platform, which could make it difficult for viewers to follow the complete story. This aspect becomes more relevant as the premiere of the final season of the series approaches, which begins next fall.

Finally, Dr. Stone has debuted on Prime Video, but only including the special episode Ryusui and the third season, New World. This means that viewers will need to watch the first two seasons on other platforms, such as Crunchyroll or Netflix, to understand the current plot. Undoubtedly, Amazon’s entry into anime opens a new chapter for consumers, although there is still a long way to go in its content strategy.

Crunchyroll and Aniplex Inc have announced the creation of Hayate, a new company aimed at developing and producing anime content. This joint effort has the main objective of planning, developing, and producing high-quality anime, leveraging Aniplex’s vast production experience and Crunchyroll’s robust distribution and marketing infrastructure. We can expect some amazing titles from this interesting partnership.

Ready for Hayate

The creation of Hayate marks a significant step for Crunchyroll, as while the streaming platform has been involved in the production of some original animes, this new approach represents a deeper immersion in the field of production. The content developed by Hayate is intended to be available worldwide, which could further strengthen Crunchyroll’s presence in an increasingly competitive market.

Aniplex, known as one of the titans in anime production, has iconic studios like A-1 Pictures, responsible for hits like Sword Art Online and Solo Leveling, and CloverWorks, which has brought to life series like Spy x Family and Bocchi the Rock!. This partnership promises a powerful union, as Aniplex’s production experience complements Crunchyroll’s strong distribution capabilities.

The management team of Hayate will be led by Masanori Miyake as CEO and Leo Watanabe as President and Chief Operating Officer, both from Aniplex. Although specific anime projects in development under the new company have not yet been confirmed, expectations are high, especially with the possibility that this content will be exclusive to Crunchyroll. It is worth noting that both Aniplex and Crunchyroll are owned by Sony, which continues to strengthen its influence in the Japanese animation industry.

Spy x Family collaborates with Street Fighter, will the popular anime arrive in the famous fighting game?

Spy x Family collaborates with Street Fighter, will the popular anime come to the famous fighting game? It is something that remains to be seen, but we will know soon

We’re now at the point where Spy x Family is known beyond the general anime audience. Everyone wants a piece of the action. But Spy x Family also needs its share of publicity. With the movie set to premiere in Japan just around the corner and in the US and Europe sometime next year, it’s normal for them to seek collaborations with similar franchises. Even if those franchises are ones you wouldn’t have initially thought of, like Street Fighter.

To celebrate the release of Spy x Family Code: White, the franchise’s first movie, they’ve announced a collaboration with Street Fighter 6. Although this collaboration won’t kick off until January 9, they’ve teased us with a short anime featuring a showdown between Yor, the assassin and protagonist mother of the family in the series, and Chun-Li, the legendary martial artist from one of the world’s most famous franchises. All of this beautifully animated by WIT STUDIO, the team behind the Spy x Family anime.

Although Spy x Family Code: White is set to premiere on December 22 in Japan, with Crunchyroll confirming its arrival in Western theaters in 2024, this collaboration won’t begin until January 9. What it entails is something we’re still not entirely sure about. Whether it’ll involve in-game cosmetics or playable characters of some kind is something we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out.

Spy x Family’s second season is currently airing and can be viewed on Crunchyroll. Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. While we’re yet to know the specifics of this collaboration, we can appreciate the beauty of this short battle between these two women.

SpyxFamily announces one of Google’s services that you might not know you have on your mobile

SpyxFamily announces one of the Google services that perhaps you didn’t know you had on your mobile, but that, as in the case of Anya, can make your life easier

Spy x Family is the most popular anime of the moment. That has been made clear more than a couple of times. And while we wait for its first movie to arrive, as we head towards the end of its second season, the series doesn’t rest. Because everyone wants a piece of the Forger family. Even if it’s just for an ad. And the latest to grab a slice of that delicious cake has been none other than Google.

Google Japan has released two web commercials for Google Lens in collaboration with Spy x Family. In these ads, we encounter Anya, a lover of detective and espionage stories, who wants to learn everything she can about the world. That’s why the first ad is called “Anya no Odekeke,” which could be translated as “Anya’s Odekeke” — “odekeke” because Anya tends to mispronounce some words; in this case, Odekeke instead of Odekake — if we wanted to respect the original reference. In this ad, Anya goes for a walk with Loid and Yor, her adoptive parents, and the voice-over recommends using Google Lens to identify things she doesn’t know.

The second ad is called “Anya no Okaimonohen,” and fortunately, it doesn’t have any pun that needs to be translated. Here, Anya goes shopping with her best friend, Becky, trying on numerous accessories and using Google Lens to find out their prices. Something that Becky doesn’t need, but Anya does, as her parents are not wealthy.

Each of the ads runs for about fifteen seconds, animated by the same studio as the original series and includes English subtitles, probably anticipating that it would generate interest beyond the Japanese audience it’s originally aimed at. Ultimately, Spy x Family has broken many barriers as one of the most popular series of recent times. And its popularity seems to only be growing.

To watch Spy x Family, both its first and second seasons, you’ll need to head to Crunchyroll. As for the movie, you’ll still have to wait until December 22 if you’re in Japan, or sometime in 2024, pending an official release date confirmation for the rest of the world.
