On September 9th, Apple will unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 16 to the world. However, that hasn’t stopped new rumors about a hypothetical iPhone 17.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already started talking about what Apple would be preparing for the launch of the iPhone 17 in 2025. Specifically, Kuo has revealed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could have 12 GB of RAM due to Apple Intelligence and a vapor camera.

We already know that Apple is going all in with Apple Intelligence. The future iPhone 16 is fully focused on Apple’s AI and many of its innovations rely on this technology. With the upcoming iPhone 17, the company wants to offer exclusive features that we won’t see in other devices. That’s why we would have this increase in RAM and a vapor camera to cool the device and improve its performance.

According to Kuo, these innovations would become a perfect attraction to attract more users to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The analyst also points out that this model could include a 48-megapixel sensor for the 120mm lens. If it finally turns out to be true, all the rear lenses of this iPhone would incorporate a 48-megapixel sensor by 2025.

Ubisoft apologizes for the Star Wars Outlaws bug that has the community angry (and rightfully so)

Ubisoft has had to apologize for a very important bug that Star Wars Outlaws is experiencing. The error in question is the worst one that a video game can suffer: the saved game is completely deleted.

To be exact, this error is happening to PlayStation 5 players who have had early access to the game thanks to buying the most expensive edition. The reason is simple: the new version (1.000.002) is incompatible with previously saved games, causing the file to become corrupted.

Ubisoft has issued a statement in which they “apologize for any inconvenience caused.” However, they do not provide any solution to the issue other than suggesting that “a new game be started to avoid problems and blockages.”

Estas son las novedades de la tercera beta de iOS 18, iPadOS 18 y macOS Sequoia con Apple Intelligence

Tenemos buenas noticias para los fans de Apple Intelligence. El pasado miércoles, Apple lanzó la tercera beta de iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 y macOS Sequoia 15.1, con novedades relacionadas con la inteligencia artificial de Apple. Estas actualizaciones llegan justo dos semanas después del lanzamiento de las segundas betas de estos sistemas.

Una de los añadidos más importantes de esta actualización es la función de Clean Up, la esperada herramienta de borrado potenciado por AI. Se encuentra disponible dentro de la aplicación de Fotos y lo podremos activar desde un nuevo icono de borrador. Esta característica nos permitirá eliminar cualquier objeto, persona o animal que nos estorbe de nuestras propias fotos. Se trata de una función similar al Borrador Mágico de Google, presentado en 2023 y disponible en los últimos Google Pixel 9.

No viene mal recordar que Apple Intelligence y sus nuevas funciones son solo compatibles con iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max actualmente. En el caso del iPad y el Mac, estos deben contar con cualquier chip de Apple Silicon (desde el M1 en adelante). Las actualizaciones se descargan desde Ajustes > General > Actualización de software.

En el caso del iPhone, tendrás que habilitar la versión de iOS 18.1 dentro del apartado de Actualizaciones beta. Como novedad, este año contamos con dos betas activas, iOS 18 y iOS 18.1. Esta última es la que trae consigo Apple Intelligence.

A día de hoy, la IA de Apple solo se encuentra disponible para los usuarios de Estados Unidos y tampoco es compatible con el idioma español. Sin embargo, la comunidad ya ha encontrado una vía para aquellos que se encuentren en otras regiones diferentes puedan probar Apple Intelligence sin problema. De forma oficial, la IA de Apple no llegaría a Europa hasta 2025.

Tetris is back in retro form!

On December 24, 1993, the studio Bullet-Proof Software, responsible for porting Tetris to NES (and five other computers) and creating Tetris Plus, Wordtris, and Super Tetris 2, released Tetris Battle Gaiden in the Japanese market. The game that not only included a competitive mode, but also allowed the players to choose different characters, each with their own abilities to defeat the opponent.

The characters have four different magic powers—two aimed at breaking the opponent’s strategy and starting our offensive; and two to clear the screen of pieces or give us playable advantages. Just for this novelty alone, it is worth trying: to recharge the magic, you have to make lines with Tetris pieces that have spheres instead of cubes. For each line, a magic level is gained (up to a maximum of four).

In addition, one of the great innovations is that both players share the same “pile” of pieces. If you miss one, you can always go slower than usual to let your opponent catch it. As if this were not enough, it has very fun animations and a certain strategy.
